I'm looking up welding jobs in Texas:
Out of curiosity I looked up Texas Pride Trailers to see what you consider a good job for someone with only HS education
Texas Pride Trailers gets a 2.8 out of 5 rating from people that have worked there. The job application says the days are 12 hours long and the work week is 55 hours. The job application says that after training you can earn up to $1500 or $2,000/ week. Have you done the math
$1500/55hours a week = $27/hour $2000/55hours a week =$36/hour For that they want people with one years experience in MIG welding
And there is more than just a drivers license expected from the applicant
