Yeah, how long did that pandemic last? The first case in the US was in 2020, the last year of the Trump administration, but you lot give him a pass on increasing the deficit over 200% and crap on Biden who reduced it over 33%.
You guys have a very flexible relationship with the truth.

Goalposts on wheels! Is the deficit the doing of Congress when the Prez is Republican and on the President when he's a Democrat?

The deficit is always the fault of congress since they appropriate the money. Its hung around presidents for political reasons. That said, deficits are going to balloon when there are massive layoffs which was the case during covid. Add in the cost of keeping the economy afloat and you get to $3 trillion deficits. That doesnt excuse $2 trillion non covid deficits though now does it.

The president has tremendous power regarding the border ad is in sole charge of enforcing the laws that apply there. And it is Harris that is pretending that she can solve issues with groceries so not sure what you are talking about.
