Has anyone taken a look at Mad King Donald's EOs? Here they are...sure sign of a weak presidency. Donald said so.

To date, Donald has signed 196 executive orders. You can see them all here;

FIVE have the word "Emergency" in the title. Needless to say, there have been no national emergencies in 2025.
ONE has the work "Woke" in the title. Yes it actually says the word "Woke".
NINE have the word "Tariff" in the title. I expected more, as many times as he has flip-flopped on tariffs, rates, countries, dates. etc. (Now that they are illegal, what will the next one say?)
One has this title: "Lowering Drug Prices by Once Again Putting Americans First" Really? Are they 1500% lower yet?
One in particular, the one titled "Zero-Based Regulatory Budgeting To Unleash American Energy" sounds like its puts a sunset clause into every single regulation that applies to energy.
It is described thus: “Conditional Sunset Date” means the date a regulation will cease to be effective and be removed from the Code of Federal Regulations, if the agency does not extend the Sunset Date pursuant to section 4(d) of this order.
So every single regulation has to be 'extended' in order to remain valid? A bureaucracy to end all bureaucracies.
Of course there is one titled "Maintaining Acceptable Water Pressure in Showerheads". Because, well Donald has a thing about this. (How embarrassing that this is a presidential executive order...)
One is called "Addressing Risks From Paul Weiss" which is a law firm. This can't be normal, can it? There are a few more of those.

"And then you have a president that signs executive orders because he can't get anything done. I'll get everybody together." - Donald J Trump, 2016.

Apparently Trump thought that the use of EOs was an indicator that a president was weak.
Is Donald unable to get anything done? He has the White House, a compliant Congress, an agreeable SCOTUS. What can't he get any legislation done?
Why are you so weak, Donald?

.

Remember the maga moaning about Biden using EO's?? Looks like Trump has issued more EO's in 7 months than Biden did in 4 years!! And that is with a congress that he almost totally controls via threats of attacks against anyone who dares to not support him. We are definitely seeing the creation of Trumps Kingdom as he attempts to take all powers under his personal control.

In all fairness, I'm good with sunset previsions self-enacting.

It'll keep legislators more honest.

I find it alarming. Pollution regulations, for example.

He is operating by decree. EO's are just that.......and the stuff of dictators and emperors.
He is NOT fit to be king..... as kings don't rule by decree anymore. ( and have not for ages now)
To Donald EO's are expedient , avoid the democratic debate process....and bypass democratic principles. His supporters will say : That is his "right"....... as that is their unthinking knee jerk response. They support his authoritarian like cations and decision's.

They don't complain about EOs anymore. I wonder why that is.

I find it alarming. Pollution regulations, for example.

Then those regs should not have had sunset provisions, if they do.

This is how Congress slides unpopular or unfunded legislation past the public. The sunset it, claiming it's temporary. Then, they keep extending the sunset provision.

It's a B.S. way to operate. Either do it, or don't!

ans: simple. Whatever Trump does is just fine by the MAGA group. ( the complainers about Biden) It is beyond double standard...... and it is very inconsistent when it comes to standards and protocols.

Emergency is Trump's favorite word.

Emergency is Trump's favorite word.
Indeed. Makes for his "rationale" and justification ( fabrications) for his actions.

Tariffs is his other favorite word. ( and he now has the whole wold pizzed off at him . .........and by default the USA who voted for him)
National "security" ( and keeping the population "safe"...... is another set of exuses to bring in many of his extreme measures.

Various other exaggerations & superlatives comprise his childish language.
