Harvard scientist says Mars was home to a civilization wiped out in a nuclear war

An ancient civilization on Mars was wiped out by a nuclear attack from another alien race.

It might sound like the plot of a science fiction novel, but Harvard scientist Dr John Brandenburg believes this catastrophic event really happened.

According to his bizarre theory, Dr Brandenburg says ancient Martians known as Cydonians and Utopians were massacred in the attack - and evidence of the genocide can still be seen today.

Back in 2011 the scientist first postulated that the red color on Mars could have been due to a naturally occurring thermonuclear explosion, claiming chemical elements in the Red Planet's surface matched those around nuclear test sites on Earth.

This reminded me of the remote viewing of Mars done by Joe Mcmoneagle:

Interesting take from the scientist. You would think that we would find fossils or remains though? That is if intellegent life did exist.

You have to explain how this guy is Harvard. From what I can see he has never studied, nor researched nor worked at Harvard. His degrees are from Southern Oregon and California, and he has teaching credits from several universities in Wisconsin and Florida, nothing from Harvard. I would also add that his claims about nuclear devastation on Mars has never been published an a peer reviewed journal. He has been "published" in Journal of Cosmology though (which is not peer reviewed and is just a website that looks like this: https://thejournalofcosmology.com/ ). That article can be found here: https://thejournalofcosmology.com/Brandenburg.pdf .

Stick Harvard in front of anything and it sounds legitimate.
