Why do you suppose the right rejoices in trump's bad behavior?

The nastier he gets, the more the right seems to like it. I hope many on the right like it come January when prices go up, up, up some more and your benefits go down, down, down. You voted to own the libs and now poor republicans will suffer.

Good job maga.

You are wasting your time pretending that MAGA cares about other MAGA. They only care about themselves and **** everyone in the way of their personal greed.

I think you have 2 different conflating ideas.

What people see as 'bad behavior', and who all excuses it.
Everyone on the political bias/partisan scale will have differing levels and meanings of both. Some will excuse anything, others have different views. At the end of the day though, voters, ALL of them, choose between the lesser of 2 evils, instead of good vs bad.

So it should come as no surprise, to you, that you only see the one side as bad.

The side in power is pushing a dramatic shift away from institutional, rules-based governance toward personal loyalty and self-interest. This is evidenced by:
- the hollowing-out of federal agencies
- the politicization of the courts and the Justice Department
-use of the Justice Department for personal protection and vendettas
-the use of unqualified loyalists and acting officials to avoid oversight
-the disregard for conflict-of-interest and emoluments norms
-the targeted attacks on the legitimacy of elections, civil servants, and factual accountability
-the dismantling of the guard rails between $ and political access

So first things first: When the rules based institutional government is failing to do it's job, IS corrupt, and DOES NOTHING but perform self interest feats, you are left with 2 choices. Do nothing. Do something.

Trump was elected as a do something measure. Both sides of the aisle didn't like that, but one side got to use him (for awhile.
He's not a very good dude, by any measure, however what he is/was (supposed to be) was something different than the standard do nothing, self interested politician.

What we got was a non politician with the same self interest.

Sides of power change back and forth, and neither side holds the righteous 'for the people' mantra. Most people are tired of the same old same old, and felt like they needed a change. Your (almost) entire list can be turned back on the Democrats, at different points in time.
The hypocrisy of crying wolf only when the other side does it is starting to leak like a sieve. Like the calls of racism, or bigotry. You just can't, or don't want to see it when your side does it.

YMMV

What are three things about the Federal government that you think were broken and failing and that needed to be dismantled by Trump? I'll address the rest of the reply after we discuss this.

Because they are angry at their lot in life and don't want to face the fact most of it is their fault.

It seems a lack of morals, values, rationality leads them to celebrate wrongs, as well as gullibility and right-wing propaganda. Once they had JFK preaching why civil rights were right. Now we have trump pandering to say oppose them.

Congress.

Not a things list. A factual entirety of our elected representatives. Corrupt and unable to perform the job they were elected to do.
Educating our children (granted, more a State responsibility) A close second.

My proposal (and you should note this because i won't again), has nothing whatsoever to do with Trump, or any particular body

Lyndon B. Johnson once said, "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.".

It's one thing to find flaws in the government - but another to note trump isn't fixing anything, only breaking.

How about you tell me the last time a president sent troops into republican controlled cities to help them with their crime rates. This is the federal government the right bitches about and yet the right loves it when those attacks are aimed at the democrats, I don't hear you folks on the right yelling government overreach or states rights, why not?

Simple.. He's owning the libs.. Insulting the libs... Name calling the libs.. Threatening the libs...

Cults like the us against them mentality... Drives them.. Keeps them together..
As long as the 'owners' of the libs are paying the same high prices as me, who really got owned?

You probably should expand your view, and not pigeonhole arguments you have.

When you do, you can't see the forest due to the single tree you are focused on.

Trump says it's failing us and you like a good trump supporter agree. Trump says so it must be true. Are you getting your cash when you get a prescription filled? Prices have come down 1500%. You buy his bullshit and then tell us we're crazy for not believing his lies.

What planet are you inhabiting?
Trump has nothing to do with any of my posts. Is that your fall back?

I am thinking you just can't understand or parse my posts. Perhaps it's best if we part ways since you are so far off from that understanding that I don't even find it entertaining anymore.

You are still single minded focused on that one single tree.

Like republicans and deportations?

I'm sure as you typed that, you completely failed to see the irony.

Identity politics exists solely due to your posted words above.
You guys have taken Identity politics to a whole other level.
Fox has used it as a weapon for 30+ years.
