Hopefully this means Israel can start wrapping up their offensive advances

Israel has told the US that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, the architect of the October 7 massacre in Israel, is dead, a person familiar with the matter tells CNN.

• Israeli officials ran tests to confirm Sinwar’s identity after he was spotted in the rubble of a building struck by an Israeli tank in Gaza early Thursday, according to a radio station run by Israel’s military.

I'm sure this will satiate Israel's bloodlust and also deter Netanyahu from his keep-out-of-jail strategy of perpetual war. Just kidding! We know that neither Israel nor America will stop until the Iranian regime is toppled (resulting in hundreds of innocent deaths on top of the Mt. Everest of recent atrocities) in order to facilitate the continuous plundering of the entire region, at the expense of the indigenous people. It's not about anything other than that; colonialization, resources, hegemony.

Sinwar can rot, but just remember -- you can stack every crime Hamas has ever committed, multiply it by 1000, and it wouldn't scratch the surface of what the so-called 'good guys' have done as far as war crimes go. Recently.

And the war in the middle east goes on

2,403 Americans died at Pearl Harbor on De. 7, 1941. The U.S. killed over 100,000 in Hiroshima alone. It's not a matter of just killing the number of people that they killed and then we're even.

Total Jew hating bullshit, you come across as pissed off that Sinwar was killed.

I Hamas is heavily destroyed, why doesn't Egypt take back Gaza?

In June 2024, The Wall Street Journal published what it said were leaked communications between the leader Sinwar and Hamas leadership, in which Sinwar claimed to "have the Israelis right where we want them" and suggested that Palestinian civilian deaths were "necessary sacrifices" that would "infuse life into the veins of this nation, prompting it to rise to its glory and honor".

So this rat like POS knew what would happen to Gaza following the Oct, 7 attack and he was good with it. What he didn't plan on was his extermination.

Good job Israel.

Good news, IMO. This could mean that Hamas surrenders. Probably not, but maybe. I guess we do what we always do now. Wait and see . . . .

He's certainly got a history of making anti-semitic posts. Here's a thread where he's openly supporting the horrific massacre of 10/7:

The hostages need to be released. Once this happens, the war in Gaza can come to a close.

That would be unsatisfactory from Israel's security perspective. How do you think Hamas has smuggled thousand upon thousands of tons of weapons into Gaza? They came through Egypt.
Egypt does not want to jeopardize its treaty and would police the area properly. It is afterall Egypt, isn't it? Just a thought for a permanent solution there.

I Hamas is heavily destroyed, why doesn't Egypt take back Gaza?
There are some people (I dare say stupid enough) who still think a two state solution will work.

Why? So it would be their headache? Egypt can’t take care of its own people, let alone 2.1 million Palestinians packed liked sardines into an area smaller than San Jose, California. There is nothing there worth taking back. Now, if someone ever finds huge petroleum and gas reserves beneath it or offshore that calculus would undoubtedly change.
