Gut-Wrenching Truth

Do you understand what the difference between a foreign operative and a foreign national is? Because it's a big difference. One is an agent of the government of that nation, and the other is just someone from another country. One would be collusion with a foreign government, the other wouldn't be collusion with a foreign government. Hillary was buying a hit piece from a foreign national....the legally ok source, Trump Jr met with a woman that claimed to be a "lawyer from the government" that had "information from the government" she wanted to share that would be damaging for Hillary.

One is a no no, meeting with an agent from the government, the other is fine, which is why the hit piece Hillary bought was originally paid for by a Republican Super PAC, because it's legal to pay foreign citizens to do research.

I enjoy debating, but wasting so much time on something so basic just makes this exercise frustrating, not entertaining.

It is also not rumor that if a following is built on hatred it will look the other way at atrocities to further the hatred.

That someone claims to represent a foreign government doesn’t make it true. That Clinton hired foreign government operatives, in service or not, is established fact. So you know where your claims reside.

You’re pushing a false narrative, and I imagine it is frustrating, especially after you believed it was so well established. Your understanding of what is legal and what is not misses the mark entirely on this front, so I’ll tell you. If you get caught, what you did was illegal. If you don’t get caught, it’s not illegal. That doesn’t mean it’s legal. It’s simply practical. Most first world countries have so many laws on the books that nearly everybody is guilty of something all the time. The chief consideration when applying one is the profile of the individual of interest and the possible import of the particular law(s) being considered for prosecution. You’re seeing that now with the Russian collusion referral to a Grand Jury. Nothing legal may come of it, but the damage it does to democrats and the media may be significant.

That’s incorrect, but it’s also incredibly ironic considering the current knowledge (for some) of what went on back in 2016. There are witnesses, among other evidence. The Grand Jury could convene in southern Florida.

Dude, it's not getting about other convictions. There was already an extensive criminal investigation. Many of the alleged sex crimes involving Trump, Clinton, and whoever else happened so long ago that they're approaching statute of limitations if they haven't already crossed that threshold. Her testimony might reopen investigations, but it's doubtful you could get convictions of other sex criminals based on her testimony alone. There has to be corroborating evidence, and the most important testimony has to come from the victims themselves.

People are not interested in other convictions. They never were. The MAGAs were using this whole thing to suggest to voters that the Democrats were the Caligula party. Turns out, the leader of the MAGA party is mentioned in these files again and again and again. They (probably) wont Maxwell to testify so that the public can hear her coerced "story" and forget about the Epstein files, hoping they never actually have to be fully released.

It was you guys that wanted this to be a top law enforcement priority. The FBI's Director and Deputy Director said as much prior to serving in their current roles when they were both bullshitting podcasters. What happened to AG "They're on my desk" Bondi?

It’s clear Bondi got out over her skis, or whatever, and Trump has over-promised on several things. I’m not part of the MAGAverse, what ever that is. If drama is your thing, there’s plenty of that. It’s not mine, and the political overlay accompanying it is largely manufactured in my view.

I'd rather there be little or no drama in government, but that's not where we are because Trump is an attention seeker, so the drama comes along with him.

It's a reaction to how Trump operates. He's a confrontational and abrasive figure, so he gets that kind of reaction.

Yes, and those charges were dropped because she was charged (and convicted) of greater crimes. So we already know she is willing to lie under oath.

But let's be honest here: if she lied under oath to Donald's benefit, who here believes Pam Bondi's DOJ would even charge her with perjury?

I agree. It is all deflection and theater for those who avoid unpleasant facts. What can be learned from Maxwell?

Bondi has already lied to us, as has Trump. Shuck and jive is all we get.
