Gun violence tied to ‘lifetime suicidal ideation and behavior’ among Black adults – study

perhaps those people who want to ban rifles should do a sacrifice and remove them from their body lest they harm anyone with them.
Nah, just a strict licensing and training requirements, store them at the local shoe store when not in use, permanent loss of a right to possess them upon conviction of a crime, and a limit to 5 or so fingers, max.

People who carry guns view them as an extension to their manhood - much the same way that driving a 4x4 V8 truck, that you don't need
Their guns amplify their self image and boost their self esteem.
1: What does that say about women who carry them?
B: Complete psychobabble utterly divorced from reality.

yes, i did that on purpose

The UK, Canada and Australia have all enacted gun control legislation, after a single mass shooting

That's stupid. If we banned things every time something bad happened because of them, we wouldn't have much of anything.

No, that's NORMAL

How many instances of terrorists crashing commercial aircraft into buildings did it take for the US government to pass a raft of laws ?

No, that's NORMAL

Goalpost move. Jet aircraft weren't banned.

No, that's NORMAL
If that's normal then normal is stupid. I prefer to be better and we are.
How many instances of terrorists crashing commercial aircraft into buildings did it take for the US government to pass a raft of laws ?
And how many of them are functional? We still have the TSA and it's still the absolute dumbest waste of money in existence. When they're audited they fail 95% of the time.

This was copying something from UK or Australia and it was stupid I'm sorry these countries don't give a shit about their people. If I wanted to live in those dumps I would move to them I don't so that's why I live here.

If you think it's so great over there go we don't want you here.

You ask that like as if you think everyone agrees with all those laws.

How many people have to be killed because of people speeding before we pass much stricter laws regarding speeding, or even seriously enforce the ones we already have?

WAAHHH! You brought up cars and it's not fair! I LOVE my car! I NEED my car! IT AIN'T THE SAME!!

You ask that like as if you think everyone agrees with all those laws.

The then Republican president did.

How many people have to be killed because of people speeding before we pass much stricter laws regarding speeding, or even seriously enforce the ones we already have?

Why should millions of motorists be "punished" by the imposition of highway speed limits just because a minority of drivers cause fatal accidents because of excessive speed ?

The then Republican president did.

So?

Why should millions of motorists be "punished" by the imposition of highway speed limits just because a minority of drivers cause fatal accidents because of excessive speed ?

Ask someone who wants to ban certain firearms because they have pistol grips or adjustable shoulder stocks.

You might be unaware, but there are laws directed at negligence and deliberate misuse relative to firearms as well.

So it was popular among the political representatives of the right
As was the "Patriot Act" - and yet the right professes it's love for the Constitution and their rights.

No-one just wants to do this. They are acting under the restrictions of the courts' interpretation of the 2nd Amentment
They can't ban guns, so they try to ban what they can
Have you REALLY not understood this ?

But in reality, they're all just half measures
There can be NO significant gun control without a repeal of the 2nd Amendment.

You say no one wants to do that, and then explain they do it anyway.

Certainly compelling evidence.

Again....so?

No-one just wants to do this. They are acting under the restrictions of the courts' interpretation of the 2nd Amentment

I'm well aware of the fact that gun control zealots want to pass more gun control laws, regardless of how useless they would be, to placate the idiot masses. I'm also aware of the fact that most of them simply want to ban guns outright, even though they lie nonstop about not wanting to do that.

Thanks for stating the obvious.

But in reality, they're all just half measures

There can be NO significant gun control without a repeal of the 2nd Amendment.

If you say so. Thanks for admitting that all the existing gun control laws are unconstitutional.

Again....so?

So the "Patriot Act":
1. Was enacted after just ONE incident
2. "Punished" millions of travelers who had done nothing wrong

The same argument that gun lovers routinely trot out.

I'm well aware of the fact that gun control zealots want to pass more gun control laws

Was George Bush Jr and the congressmen who passed the Patriot Act - "zealots" ?

regardless of how useless they would be

Or how they would contribute to lower gun crime.

....to placate the idiot masses.

Like Trump's promise to build a wall as as useless gesture to placate the idiot MAGA masses ?

I'm also aware of the fact that most of them simply want to ban guns outright, even though they lie nonstop about not wanting to do that.

I want to ban all (privately owned) firearms, but authorize the national executive to exempt some guns - mostly on make/model basis.

Thanks for admitting that all the existing gun control laws are unconstitutional.

Except they're not

However, given the Supreme Court's biased interpretation of the 2nd Amendment
There can be no significant gun control unless/until it is repealed.

You still haven't answered my question. All you've done is expand on your whataboutism.

Maybe local police station would be a better location ?

I don't want you to feed me your guns, I want you to turn them in to law enforcement.

I'll not be doing that, nor will I be buying you a grape soda if that is something else you want.
