Gun control is damn near the equivalent of car control

You need to explain what the hell you mean by guns and circulation do you mean guns owned by individuals?

So I can only interpret this hogwash you typed to mean less people should be allowed to own firearms.

You have to tell me what this circulation is I don't know what that means. Are you suggesting guns are like currency that you go to the store and buy an Apple for 15 guns?
I refer to the number of guns in private hands in the US, which makes cops jobs more dangerous, and civilians-police encounters potentially more dangerous as well. I was nearly shot by plainclothes cops who mistook me for a hijacker and assumed I was armed.

So you want gun control for no good reason other than your feelings?

Police are far from the most dangerous job.

Give me a break.

Not what I said. I said their jobs are made more dangerous due to the number of guns around. As to my feelings, almost being shot by cops who understandably assumed I was armed was indeed a downer.

Did they not understand the danger

It's kind of like telling me you got nine holes in one at a golf course pictures or it didn't happen.

It's just like saying that you almost got nine holes in one, but didn't actually get any.

Officers might have pointed guns at him. That happened to me once

I had a small town cop unsnap his holster as I walked towards him. I guess I almost got shot. It didn't put me on an anti-gun crusade though.

First time I ever got pulled over as a driver I panicked looking for my insurance and license. I suppose I almost got shot too. The officer saw his young I was and explained when you do that sort of thing police didn't know what you're doing.

Do you want the story?
Nobody cares about how you think you were almost shot whatever that means I don't know how you can read the minds of other people.

It's a piss poor excuse for taking away the entire Constitution and that's what you're proposing it's a stupid mistake you shouldn't make it but don't listen to people far more intelligent than you.

Do you want the story?

I've heard it. I liked the part where three or four cops were all pointing guns at you from within their car. It has kind of a Keystone Kops flavor to it.

I didn’t read their minds. The cops told me they assumed I was armed, that’s why three of them pointed guns at me. When I asked why they didn’t show their badges, one said that last time he did that it was almost shot out of his hand.

I don’t want to take away the Constitution, just believe in the way it was interpreted before the recent decision by the Supreme Court. The poorly written Second Amendment can and has been interpreted as both applying to militias or to individuals’ rights to bear arms.

My response would have been: "Oh please".

Can't be both?

The interpretation of the 2A has never changed since it was first addressed by SCOTUS in 1858. It was ALWAYS been an individual right.

If it were written differently or punctuated differently. Put “and” or “thus” between the clauses and one has two different meanings. And of course, there has been plenty of gun control — even endorsed by the NRA back in the day — in our history.

It doesn't include the "or" you inserted.

So they didn't almost shoot you they just pointed guns at you.

No I really don't believe you.
I don’t want to take away the Constitution, j
Yes you do.
ust believe in the way it was interpreted before the recent decision by the Supreme Court.
It was interpreted the same way all the way back to 1795 you mean you want to return to the ku Klux Klan interpretation where you don't really have any rights at all.

Do you not understand the interpretation you like was a ruling for the ku Klux Klan
The poorly written Second Amendment can and has been interpreted as both applying to militias or to individuals’ rights to bear arms.
It wasn't poorly written. It always applied to individuals the only time it was an interpreted wrongly to only apply to malicious was when the Court ruled and favor the ku Klux Klan so that's what you're supporting. You have the same view of Rights that the KKK has can I call you Grand dragon?

Don’t understand your comment, sorry.

The poorly written Second Amendment can and has been interpreted as both applying to militias or to individuals’ rights to bear arms.

It doesn't have to be a dichotomy.

The people with permission to keep and bear arms, I suppose.
They always try and pretend this militia is an entity onto itself it is the people.

I like the people saying it's the national guard no it isn't.

I remember hearing about the Battle of Athens in 1946 The national guard was useless and they needed the firearms the national guard had
