The realities are not hard to accept. The injustices in some of the wars you mentioned are.

On the other hand, what Trump did: a- honors the entire hemisphere; b- is only fair, as so many Mexicans have come to the US - especially the southwest and more so California where I live, that they have changed many of our place names to Spanish.

Are you actually praising Trump for doing something that "HONORS" the entire hemisphere?
So what if there are so many place names in Spanish on the West Coast?
There are lots of names on the East Coast named after Polish, Dutch, and French names and places to honor those who helped America in her earlier years.

Wait until U.S. military bases go back to the names of defeated Confederate generals from the Civil War. Then we'll see if America is still traditional and conservative.
