I don't want to be "that guy", but these shows were funny BECAUSE they were mocking women and femininity.

It's sort of like when you watch old cartoon and find jokes about natives and black people that would never be aired today. It's the same here, they mocked women too.
And you know, if you like that kind of humor, then great! idc either way.

But It wasn't about introducing children to drag, it was about comedy. That's all it was.
 
Bosom Buddies was a great show in the 1980s. First time I was ever aware of who Tom Hanks was. He and Peter Scolari dressed in drag in every episode for the 2 years that show was in primetime. Too bad we didn't have Republicans around then to try to save us from the perverted drag queens.

Pride month is going to be tough for some. Hopefully, this lends a little perspective.
