Greenpeace founder: Climate Change hysteria a complete fabrication

Patrick Albert Moore (born June 15, 1947) is a Canadian industry consultant, former activist, an early member and past president of Greenpeace Canada. Since leaving Greenpeace in 1986,[2] Moore has criticized the environmental movement for what he sees as scare tactics and disinformation, saying that the environmental movement "abandoned science and logic in favor of emotion and sensationalism".[3] Greenpeace has criticized Moore, calling him "a paid spokesman for the nuclear industry, the logging industry, and genetic engineering industry"[4] who "exploits long-gone ties with Greenpeace to sell himself as a speaker and pro-corporate spokesperson".[5]

Not exactly co-founder of Greenpeace.

Well, @PoS is consistent, if anything. His record for posting horseshit remains unblemished.

How many more times will you guys recycle this bullshit? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I think time will prove Moore Correct. The observed data is showing that added Greenhouse gases are not doing much.
Our warming since 1978 looks like it is long term natural warming, blocked for perhaps centuries and released in a few decades,
form first dimming the skies with smog, and then clearing that same smog.

How did that smog get cleared?

You consider 40-50 years "long term" with regards to climate?

Yup, its a scam alright.

Yeah, a scam concocted by China to harm US industry. Wealthy, powerful oligarchs say so and they wouldn't lie, right?
They must be intelligent to be so rich and powerful, right? And you can appear intelligent yourself by agreeing with them, right?

Old and still useless news, information on Patrick Moore is widely available.

Well we passed laws (Human activity) that reduced aerosol emissions from power plants and car Exhausts.

LMAO.... Say, weren't those laws championed by that very environment movement that Moore abandoned science?

Yes, and we should not change them, but those actions in the 1970's, are the likely cause of observed warming since 1978.
The warming is most likely slow natural warming hidden by aerosol dimming, but reveled in a much shorter time frame.
We all understand at some level that a car slowing down over 10 seconds (Normal breaking) and a car impacting a wall
at 60 mph, have very different outcomes. In one the energy is released over a long time frame, but if you shorten the time
frame the energy over time increases very quickly.
On the plus side we are back to the energy levels (Energy reaching the surface) of the 1950's.
On the negative side we do not know how much potential energy remains to be released.

Spoken like a true "industry consultant". (aka: a hired gun for polluters)

Moore is not a co-founder of Greenpeace. I know because some of my friends have served there.

Moore has been a paid spokesperson for polluting industries. He co-chaired a public relations effort for the Nuclear Energy Institute where he outrageously claimed that the Three Mile Island meltdown "prevented radiation from escaping into the environment."

Greenpeace may like to say that now, but Moore was there in the beginning.

Before he left Greenpeace, they did claim him as a founder. They went extreme, and he wanted no part of their antics.

I have not found any numbers as to how much the changes are, but the ocean freight ships have been a huge reason the full effect of the sun has not reached the ocean waters under clear skies. For some years now, efforts have been made to use cleaner fuels and newer ships do not burn the dirty fuel oil. This is one reason we are seeing more surface insolation. Surface insolation over the oceans, warm the planet far greater then surface insolation over land for the same intensity. The heat is directly absorbed by the water, taking decades to equalize. land surface hear responds more like a blackbody, and loses heat back upward as IR rapidly.

Not to mention, a paid spokesman for the nuclear energy industry. No conflict of interest there.
Many modern environmentalist see Nuclear power as an environmentally friendly energy path.
People who understand our energy requirements, also understand that we require dispatchable base load power,
and Nuclear is on of the best options.

Any of them from Chernobyl? Asking for a friend.

I know those droughts in China destroy the hell out of US industry :p
