Grassroots movement is starting among Democrats to get the Democratic Party to nominate someone other than Obama for president. How do Democrats here feel about this? Who would be the potential nominees?

I've heard rumblings of this as well. It would be interesting to see if the D party was willing to acknowledge Obama's inspirational and amazing leadership as he shepherded us through these dire times, reformed healthcare, kept us out of depression, lowered the oceans, gave us a quantum leap in consciousness, and was kind of like God as he watched over us all.... and that they understand his deep desire to spend more time with his family... and that they will instead run with America's Most Popular Politician.

Wonder who they would send to break the news to the President. As I recall, when the GOP leadership decided Nixon needed to go, they sent Barry Goldwater.

incidentally, this reconfirms my 2008 prediction that the Obama administration would mirror that of Jimmy Carters'.
