Is your position that biological women should also have access to free taxpayer-funded boob jobs, or are only men entitled to this important human right? Are you sure it's not because you hate them because your posts certainly reflect that but you probably know that bidpgotry is considered ignorant so you make it about rationing your compassion which is kind of absurd.
What blogger/podcast told you that breast augmentation is a covered procedure for transgender females? Is your position that biological women should also have access to free taxpayer-funded boob jobs, or are only men entitled to this important human right?
If the latter, your position is unconstitutional. If the former, well, at least you're consistent although I don't think there's much public support for taxpayer-funded cosmetic surgeries. Much of the time, our government doesn't even fund actual medicine! How about you at least wait until our society has the basics of health care worked out, before you start also demanding increasingly ridiculous add-ons.
The OP's link to The Advocate. If The Advocate is wrong and it's not covered, then it's not "a stunning escalation" (The Advocate's words), nor is it "destroying their lives" (OP's words). At most, it would be a redundant addition to the bill, if it's just spelling out that a procedure isn't covered that wasn't covered anyway. What blogger/podcast told you that breast augmentation is a covered procedure for transgender females?
Breast augmentation and FFS are usually not covered by public health insurance. Private health insurance may cover it.The OP's link to The Advocate. And regardless of the current state of the law, @j brown's body made the affirmative case that it *should* be covered. (At least I think that's what he was saying in between the usual shrieks of bigotry.) Do you agree with him that it should be covered, @Lisa ?
OK. If you are fine with it not being covered by the taxpayers, then we do not disagree. Have a nice day.Breast augmentation and FFS are usually not covered by public health insurance. Private health insurance may cover it.
Breast reconstruction is covered for females.
It might be covered on a case-by-case basis but as a rule I dont think it is covered in the same manner as HRT, counseling and bottom surgery. Trans guys do get their mastectomy covered by public health insurance. Only a few trans women need breast augmentation because of the effects of the hormones.OK. OK. So you were just lying when you said they weren't covered. "The MAGA position" being the one you just claimed was already the status quo? The one you dodged when asked about YOUR position? If you are going to claim to be a neo-liberal, it would be refreshing if you didn't support the MAGA position 99.99% of the time.

You don't get to play this game. You don't get to attack me for having a "hostile attitude toward transgenders" when you won't even say that you disagree with me. If you think taxpayers should pay for fake titties for men (and possibly for women too?), then you should have the courage of your convictions and say so. Instead of doing this mealy-mouthed dance where you attack me for holding a position that you won't even say you disagree with. Because it sure sounds like you are just saying "You're totally right about everything, it's just impolite to say so out loud."What does that have to do with my acknowledging your hostile attitude toward transgenders
Yep. There are about 10,000 medical and medical-adjacent procedures and drugs, which are not publicly funded for most people, that I'd prioritize above taxpayer-funded fake titties for men.and your rationing of compassion towards them because, I guess, you've used it all up?

And if you think my attitude toward the transes is "hostile" or lacks "compassion," this is a perfect example of why. The narcissistic tendency to make every single political issue about they/them. To center they/their needs when the government doesn't even have universal health care for the general population. Yeah, I'm gonna get pissed off when they/them behave this way all the ****ing time. Maybe a poor person's dialysis treatment is more important than fake titties for narcissists.
My attitude toward mean-spirited narcissists is quite hostile, and the Venn Diagram of that group and the transes has a lot of (although imperfect) overlap. But it has nothing to do with their specific desire to cut their penises off. If you want to cut your dick off (as an adult) and tell everyone you're a pretty princess, whatever, you do you. My attitude is only hostile if you insist that I participate in this game, or that the public participates in this game. Are you seriously arguing that your attitude towards transgenders isn't hostile?
Not that or chiropractic or homeopathic or essential oils.It would be OK for insurance to cover their conversion therapy?

That particular drag Queen was in a movie called pink flamingos. it was a rather disgusting movie. I would recommend don't watch it unless you really are into grossed out stuff.View attachment 67572539
Stunning and brave.
Conversion therapy is Faith healing like chiropractic. No government assistance should be used to pay for such things. Not yet, anyway.

All therapy? Like aromatherapy or reiki?I believe insurance covers therapy.
All therapy? Like aromatherapy or reiki?
So not all therapy for example Faith healing or chiropractic or aromatherapy.Therapy for mental health.

Conversion therapy is absolutely faith healing mixed with aversion grooming.Conversion therapy doesn't neccesarily involve those things.
