Oh yeah! It's settled law, just like Roe.I’m sorry. But wasn’t this litigated in the Supreme Court already? Playboy? Hustler? All those cases?
Don’t falsely equate two sides. That is just ignoring how the one side (the far right) wants to oppress 3/4 of the world (the best of the worst case scenario) and how the left wants to combat it by not treating the far right as a legitimate political position to be listened to or respected since its actually a danger to the rest of the world.Again the far left proving they are the exact same as the far right.
So apparently the bill does define porn, the undefinable, as anything that appeals to prurient interests. I looked up prurient, and it’s defined as “having a or encouraging an excessive interest in sexual matters.” Now all they have to do is define “excessive.”
Hahahah well, it's estimated that women think about sex about 18 times a day and men think about it 24 times a day (frequency differs with each study) so we'll have to wear thought helmets that register how many times it happens whenever they decide what "excessive" means. So apparently the bill does define porn, the undefinable, as anything that appeals to prurient interests. A while ago I thought that cell phones jammed into women’s jeans back pockets was sort of attractive. Then I searched, and naturally found several pics on line. Izzat porn?Dang, they'll have to ban tight jeans on guys. OK, equal treatment under the law, on women too

It just occurred to me that if such a bill were to pass, teenage boys would be incarcerated at the onset of puberty.
Porn and prostitution are not the same.Porn is prostitution so at least it would establish some consistency in the law.
The right: we must ban the books to brainwash everyone so they obey our police state, you peasants must serve the billionaires!Again the far left proving they are the exact same as the far right.
That you think lying about what the far left poster as well as numerous others are saying is an effective argument just shows how divorced you are from reality. But then that is nothing new for you.The right: we must ban the books to brainwash everyone so they obey our police state, you peasants must serve the billionaires!
The left: whoa these guys are pretty bad, we need to stop them
You: they’re exactly the same!
It may hurt your feelings but fascists who ban books, intimidate the media, intimidate the courts, who use violence to oppress the people for the sake of billionaires, are genuinely bad people. That you think lying about what the far left poster as well as numerous others are saying is an effective argument just shows how divorced you are from reality. No. Just don't count on these people administering fair elections. NC was a failure for them, but almost not.
Ok. Still just think we should assume that the midterms might not be testing what the public wants, because throughout the Old Confederacy, the midwest and the west, those people will be thumbing every scale.
Ok. I'm with @Bonnot. Let's just operate from foresight and plan for more than just "snout-counting."
Or just leave.
