GOP pushes schools to post all class materials online...

I have no problem with transparency... Requiring schools to post all their curriculum online is a STUPID and EXPENSIVE idea...
Considering that most of the materials are probably already digital, no, it's not an expensive idea. It takes nothing more than some administrative work to gather the materials from teachers and a free DropBox account. If the school already maintains a website or parent portal (as so many do), then it gets even simpler.

Bullshit... Schools can NEVER been run like a business.. They can NOT choose which students to accept.... A REAL business chooses which customers to serve, schools do not have that luxury...
You're confused about how businesses are run. Generally speaking, businesses don't choose their customers; their customers choose them.

And believe me, nothing terrifies the public education bureaucracy quite like the prospect of parents being able to vote with their feet.

why is this such a serious issue now??? And speaking of transparency, how about all the "material" Trump has hidden, moved or relocated? I call that hypocrisy, what do you call it?
I call it a clumsy attempt at thread-jacking.

Your original post:

Okay .. are you suggesting the school systems are already being transparent with the material? I would call bullshit .. I know my 12 year old daughter's schedule, yet, the curriculum has not been publicly shared. We have little to no depth into the material being taught in middle school. Why would you be against transparency from our government?
I don't believe that you can't access the curriculum. My advice would be to look at your child's online material, textbooks, and assignments. Any missing pieces can be obtained via a couple emails. I've been watching this process firsthand for years.

Faux.

We are way past that now, with Hillary wiping servers, destroying evidence and obstruction of justice.

So these materials will be available to everyone? Do they have to pinky swear not to copy the work of those who sell curriculum?

LMAO..... You have CLEARLY never actually run a business...

Trump is a strawman .. this is current date education material under Biden .. (not Trump) .. so .. why do you have a problem with transparency? Especially with concerns on CRT, and with teachers who are focused on politics instead of teaching our children HOW to think?

The easy answer is .. education hasn't been as radical in history .. duh .. especially with teachers providing their own opinion on things.

This isn't being communicated .. thus .. the problem with transparency from our government. Do you struggle with government being transparent?

define "radical" please....

Generally no. My school system requires each parent to have login credentials to do things like registering students for school every year. That could easily be expanded for accessing curriculum and reference material.

I am okay with links or citations to copyrighted works. So you can stop arguing that this is a problem, because it's not.

Do you REALLY think there is new curriculum material every time the presidency changes?

LOL... So those parents would have to pinky swear?
