GOP has filed 14 Biden impeachment resolutions

I wouldn’t have impeached him. Especially the second impeachment because you can’t remove a president that’s already out of office. Removal is what impeachment process is all about. Congress can’t punish any president outside of only removing him from office. Congress is forbidden from invoking any other punishment. That would have to be done by legal authorities such as the DOJ in federal court or by some state AG or the like in a state court.

I’m not sure the second impeachment was constitutional because Trump couldn’t be removed from office. He was already gone, out of office. It's like I said, I viewed the whole impeachment thing as a complete waste of time, energy and money.
You're not answering my question. Am I just not being clear?

You are quite clearly a cultist.
Why are you calling a DP member a ‘cultist’, @LetsGoBrandon . That’s a nasty noun.

GOPs already had impeachment resolutions for HRC if she had won. Chaffetz quit June /2017 since he couldn’t lead that Qangaroo Qourt.

Okay, I don't think neither Trump's two impeachment nor Bill Clinton's were valid. It boils down to what I've said, valid is in the eye of the beholder. Democrats say Clinton's wasn't valid, Republicans say it was. Democrats say Trump's two impeachments were valid, Republicans say no way.I just shrug, continue on with my life and pray for a Braves win tonight. Right now, that is the most important thing going on in my life. Not impeachments, not the midterm, but the Atlanta Braves winning that ballgame tonight.

Why were Trump's impeachments not valid? And I'm talking about substance, not pollings, independents, or past examples.

Lmao. The claim that there were 17 witnesses? You're lost. Of course, thinking everyone is lying, so perfectly, is bound to get one lost.
You really do not have a clue. No crime was commited or proven. I don't care if there were 10,000 witnesses. The transcript of the phone call was released, the Ukraine president claimed no pressure from Trump and the loan guarantees were given. Trump was simply impeached on an insanely dumb narrative and then acquitted in the Senate.

The Senate makes its own rules, and it ruled that they could impeach him. And they should have so he couldn't run again, and to quite possibly save the Republican Party.

That phone call was the smoking gun. The testimony revealed how deeply he upended the diplomatic corp in an effort to get them to do his personal bidding.

I mean, good lord man, this is a guy who tried to get the DoJ to lie about voter fraud to help him overturn the election.. How can you be so snowed by this con man?

Hate to rain on your parade, however taking a sharpie to fill in a preferred narrative is not to be taken seriously. I nearly busted a gut laughing.

Any politician that did what he did should be impeached. You just like cheaters and anti Americans I guess.

In what is no surprise at all, the GOP have filed 14 impeachments against Biden and his administration......Democrats filed 13 for the entire 4 years of Trump's term.
Now, for people who think that McCarthy's "vision" for America contains any policy has been duped (again). The GOP simply will continue with more impeachment resolutions because they are so angry (still) that their hero and idol, Donald J Trump, lost and are willing to sacrifice everything just to continue to impeach Biden in retaliation.

The GOP's fastest rising star, MGT, has authored about 1/3 of them, herself.

There have only been ten (10) pieces of legislation introduced in the House calling for Biden's impeachment, not 14, but considering your source is MSN, that is not surprising. Perhaps they confused the Articles of Impeachment of AG Merrick Garland and Secretary of State Antony John Blinken as articles against Biden.

You really didn't think the GOP would not impeach the next Democrat President, whomever it might have been, since Democrats already established the precedent for a willy-nilly impeachment without any indication of a crime just because they wanted it to happen. Biden will spend the rest of his term being impeached by the Republican Party, just like Trump. Karma is a bitch, isn't it? A lesson the Democratic Party never seems to learn.

Last I checked not much has been done with the impeachment Bills against Biden.

Some were filled in 2021 and nothing has happened.

Who cares? This is just the far right lunatics in Congress appealing to their room temp level IQ cult followers.

Nothing is happening with these efforts.

Not sure government should be based on karma, but you all have destroyed just about everything else.

Cheaters? Desperate, aren't you? Nothing illegal happened with the phone call. Dementia Joe however is guilty of what Trump was impeached for:

Did you seriously think that there would be no repercussions for the criminal acts of the Democratic Party over the last four years? Are you truly that naive? Astounding!

Trump committed impeachable offenses. Did you think impeachment wouldn't result from that?

You mad bro?

Sharpie? This is why you're lost. The "sharpie" was proven by the witnesses. And the documents.

Ignore reality all you want.

GOP has filed 14 Biden impeachment resolutions .......so what. There is nothing to them.

Can we say BS political rhetoric? Yes we can. It's all fake like the republican party.

Why were Trump's impeachments not valid? And I'm talking about substance, not pollings, independents, or past examples.
they were from a Democratic perspective. Not from mine. I considered them a total waste of time, energy and money. The second one is easy, I considered it unconstitutional as impeachment is the only way to remove a president. Trump wasnt president when the second one started. I can't even remember the charges on the first. I knew it was a futile effort guaranteed to fail. Not enough Americans favored the removal of Trump. So why go through with it if not only to placate a party's base. I think how the American people feel, think are important even though it appears you don't.

It was the same with Bill Clinton's impeachment. The people didn't want him impeached, but the Republicans went through with it anyway to appease their base. Both parties doing the impeachment said it was the right thing to do. Maybe they're right, maybe not. Both had the air of a purely partisan affair..

The Senate makes its own rules, and it ruled that they could impeach him. And they should have so he couldn't run again, and to quite possibly save the Republican Party.
Yeah, to a certain extent, correct. But the Constitution states, “No person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two thirds of the members present.” The senate can make all the rules for the trial, but there’s no getting around the requirement of two thirds of all senators present voting for conviction to remove a president.

As for the Republican party, Trump is their problem. If he drives the GOP down to irrelevancy, so be it. They brought him on the scene, they’re responsible for him. If the Republican Party is dumb enough to run Trump again in 2024, they’ll lose big time. Independents dislike the man; history has shown folks usually don’t vote for someone they dislike. Running Trump again in my opinion guarantees a Democrat will win the presidency again in 2024. Republicans must be blind as a bat not to realize this. Let them figure it out. The Republican Party, especially Trumpers aren’t about to listen to you or me anyway. Why waste your breath? Let them suffer the consequences. Trump is a has been who doesn’t know it yet. I think Trump knows he can no longer be the leader of the big pond, the USA. So, he’s settled for being the leader of the little pond, the Republican Party. Trump is toast, he doesn’t realize it yet, neither do his followers and apparently neither do the Democrats.
