GOP congressman places blame on Trump admin for crisis in Afghanistan: 'They set this up to fail'

Trump has been gone for 7 months.

Joe had 7 months to tweak anything he liked about the deal and is backed by the strongest military force on the planet to back up his wrinkled ass.
20 years of Bush’s quagmire takes more than tweaking to fix, not that you would know.

If the orange man was in power right in this same situation now you wouldn't supportive at all.

You give a shit more about your liberal team than the Americans stuck over there.
Accusing fellow Americans of caring more about their liberal team than their fellow Americans stuck there is the usual poor lying trump form we’ve come to expect from you, RetiredUSN.

Knew it was Kinzinger before I even read the OP.
He's auditioning for his place at the lucite table, nothing more.
Kinzinger is one of the last HONEST and PATRIOTIC Republicans, though I do like Gov. Hogan.

Ties in nicely with these comments from trump's last Sec of Defense.

If you read it you should have noticed that in this Trump agreement he says " “The whole policy strategy going forward was ‘Ghani is going to have to deal with the Taliban.’ And it wasn’t going to be a 50-50 split between the Afghan government and Taliban. We knew that. It was going to be 75-25 [majority Taliban], and then you flip this thing into an interim government,” he said.
Yes Trump was willing to give the Taliban 75% control of their gov. that would have become 100% in a short time
Yes Trump was just going to give the Taliban just about everything they have been fighting for and we have been fighting against for 20 year
and basically just walk out
It doesn't seem that Trump cared that we spent Billions in US taxpayers dollars in training the Afghan military gave them Billions in aid and had thousands of our Military KILLED
Have a nice night

Name the policy votes that support your claim that Kinsenger is a lefty. I'll wait.
Kinzinger supports GOP orthodoxy on economics, which I vehemently oppose.

He’s been a GODSEND to the Veterans of this Nation cleaning up Rumsfeld’s mess with the VA.

pro-Trump = pro-Putin, pro-Xi, pro-Bolsonaro, pro-North Korea, pro-cut off the legs of the Kurds, pro-erDOGan, anti-America
Link? Evidence? Talking out of your arse?

Oh, your thread title should begin: "Pelosi Republican" says . . . "
Another trump supporter who hasn’t the slightest idea of Kinzinger’s voting record since coming to Congress in 2010 on the TEA party wave.

Gotcha!

He is angling for switching parties with Pelosi's blessings.
Kinzinger is a REAL Republican, something trumpistanis aren’t.

It's cool. He knows he's gone next election. He's angling to be Pelosi's new boy.

With the Trump " agreement "Trump did just about everything including aiding and abetting the Enemy
Heck he just gave them everything they have fought for for 20 years and WE were fighting against
Trump really made the US look weak and put us in a bad light to all our other Allies
Have a nice night

Yeah, Okeeeeyy, Uh huh, Gotcha. That real Republican is gone when his time is up.

The only thing the one term mistake wanted to make sure of is that the Taliban would not take over while he was in office. This was a going away present for Biden.
This won’t be the last sabotage by traitor Trump.

You mean Biden, right?

He's more of a left-winger than you are.
Says the poster who hasn’t a clue of Kinzinger’s voting record. He’s a conservative, not a trump Reich-winger.

Some will believe any story they hear.
A fine example is this thread.

For goodness sakes have some self respect.

Kinzinger has been a Trump hater from day 1!
Kinzinger is an American-loving Veteran, so naturally he abhors treasonous kkkowardly liars like trump and his political ilk.

A fair criticism. Biden could have averted the disaster that Trump set up, but failed to take corrective action.
Like redeploying the troops and equipment needed to wage a major offensive on the Taliban? Lose dozens more American soldiers lives and for what? This is not something we ever can do easily. In some ways it is better to do this quickly and not let our goal be lost yet again. In a month this will be old news.

You mean Biden, right?
trump allowed Russia to use SolarWinds to breach federal agencies, the scope we may NEVER know. More trump treason ...

No, I do not mean re-deploying troops, but rather the slowing of the withdrawal.

I still do not understand the move to remove the troops BEFORE we remove our citizens and allies (the Afghans that assisted us). It seems to me that holding the airbase would have slowed the Taliban advance. When someone well explains the need to do those moves before getting everyone out, well, then I will be less critical of Biden. Do you know?
