Golfers, what do you think of trump driving his cart onto the greens?

That's not the green, that's the apron.

Fair enough.

But Trump has had his moments of dumb cart driving. What appears to have triggered this latest Trump bash is a video that resurfaced from 8 years ago. Where The Donald clearly did drive across the middle of a green in seemingly clueless fashion.

Awkward.

Trump, 79, Rests in Golf Cart Parked on Green During Game With Granddaughter

Donald Trump has been spotted breaking a basic rule of golf etiquette by driving his cart on the green.

I personally hope his hell includes no golfing, or, if he wants to golf, he must walk the course.

Trump is teaching his granddaughter how to respond to etiquette, rules, tradition and respect so she can grow up to be just like him and his father and his father's father.

What a man! What a leader!

Lol, she's 18 and will be playing Division 1 college golf at the University of Miami next fall. It appears her handicap is approximately 0.5. I'm sure she well understands golf etiquette and rules and by this point in her very successful golf progression, her grandfather certainly isn't her instructor. But I bet they have a very good time as golf partners.

I bet he parks on the green so that he can get a closer look when she bends over to pick up the ball out of the cup.

LOL and poor leftists - regarding this comical thread! Maybe some of you should head out into the fresh air and play a round today or just take a nice long walk, letting just a little bit of ridiculous drama out of your brain.
No way in hell they are going to last 3 years of a president Trump adminstration!

Play that to the Benny Hill theme.

I think that perfectly exemplifies his persona.

A lazy prick.

He's old, weak, stupid and senile.

Who is going to try to tell him not to?

Besides, Donald Trump is guilty of far more serious crimes.....

Don't believe any of those carts are on the green.

That appears to be a links course in Great Britain. Everybody is on the fairway.

..

You stole my post. On some lilnks courses, and especially from the distance that video was taken, it's hard to tell where the fairway ends and the green begins.

I prefer walking the course, but eventually, you get too old. As for carts, it's basic etiquette not to drive them onto greens.
You would be banned from every course I’ve ever played on if you drove a cart on to a green.

Yeah, probably. I've found that golfers who are playing golf are angry creatures with little patience. Courtesy is key.

No. He's on the green at Trump National. DC as his granddaughter putts.

Trump eyes up his granddaughter like he does his daughter.

"...angry creatures with very little patience."

Well stated. As a former (frustrated) avid golfer, i concur.

I stopped getting mad about golf after I sat myself down and realized that if missing a two-foot putt is my biggest problem, then it's time to shut the **** up and just enjoy being out in the sunshine.

The founding fathers never envisioned the President having to walk the course.

US Constitution - Section. 2.

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to drive his cart onto any golf green within the jurisdiction of these United States, and to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

Perhaps someone should tell Obama:

Bowlers aren't that much different.
I don't have as much experience with bowling, but I've done it enough to suck at it. My ability to suck at golf is a bit more developed.
