All my charts have Gulf of Mexico on them. That is the term I will continue to use.
 
Usually just "The Gulf" - but would otherwise say Gulf of Mexico.

Of course, I also continue to use Mount McKinley and Mount Evans. Just what they are to me.

Oddly, the Gulf of California doesn’t have any shoreline in the state of California.

I call it the Gulf of Mexico. On the other hand, I call the southwestern state New America.

I don't care. I do not plan to visit or take a vacation the Gulf.

I am surprised the President Trump did not deem it the Gulf of Trump.

America renaming it to the gulf of America is about as cringe as giving yourself a nickname, demanding everyone call you it, and everyone just continuing to call you Melvin.

(No offense to proud Melvins, it's just what came to mind first.)
