except black lives matter is not a terrorist organization. But Qanon does have all the hallmarks of a homegrown terrorist organization and right wing extremists do also have terrorist attitudes and some are actual terrorists. But if political parties start naming groups they do not like as terrorist groups, it would be a disaster of epic proportions.

Would you be so quick to put people in jail who were rioting, causing property damage to government buildings, throwing rocks at authorities and destroying local businesses over taxes and perceived slights to freedoms like owning firearms by also taking down statues?

Libs on the streets and in political office have already pulled down numerous statues over the death of one black man, while countless more have died since then (and not a peep from Libs).

Why do you think I am lying? If I knew how to work the magic of my phone, I suppose I could take and post a pic of the cover of the report I wrote with a couple of others for Amnesty International called “Lost in the Labyrinth,” about detention of asylum seekers in US prisons and detention centers. Just looked, runs 93 pages, published in September of 1999. It has some case histories and even a few photos. I believe we had a press conference at its release. Or maybe I could find some radio archive of a Christian station that interviewed me after I spoke with jailed Chinese women who had fled forced abortions in China. That was in a prison known as Lerdo, near Bakersfield, CA, the day of the Okla City bombing, which killed any further media attention of my visit. There might even be notes somewhere about my visit to the Colorado max security facility in Canon City as an investigator for the Colorado Civil Right’s Commission in the mid-1970s. Or a record somewhere of my own brief time in jail in Visalia, CA with striking farmworkers in 1972. And as I said, I didn’t find posh facilities anywhere.

Btw, thanks for allowing me to reminisce. Been a while since I thought of such things.
