Maxwell is another diversion from releasing the FBI files.

I have been following Maxwell since 1990 when her father "fell" from his yacht off the Canary Islands. She clever, cagey, and much smarter than Trump for sure.

To grant this evil woman anything is another betrayal of the young women they both abused. Trumpers have lost all sense of right and wrong.

I have been a proponent of not releasing the files but I have changed my mind. There is now,in my view, a public good in releasing them. This has gone too far. However , I have no faith they will all be released...just the ones that implicate others. This Administration is evil
 
In 2022 the DoJ showed no interest in a plea deal with Mazwell. Suddenly Trumps boy from the DoJ shows interest.

Maxwell has lied previous, and mislead investigators. She has not shown an ounce of remorse.

Release the FBI files, stop with the Maxwell diversion.

I think you're right. Even if this turns out the worst way possible for Trump, he will not resign. He wouldn't have enough dignity to resign.

Quite the opposite, nothing can be done about it. He's a second term president, the window of oppurtunity to put him behind bars closed the moment he took office -- and he knows it.
He literally told MAGA supporters that he doesnt need them or their support. And he doesnt.

As for a distraction, I think its more him setting up to release Ghislaine and then she;ll stay mum about his involvement, but name some Democrats or something. He's never gonna release the files, and then he's gonna use Ghslaine as "evdence" that the files are nothing-burger as far as his involvement.

And nobody can do anything about it. Broken system, on the way to being a broken country.

Won't work. The walls are closing in.

He can't win here. If the files are released we'll see the claims against him. If they're not released the claims of a cover-up will haunt him for the rest of his life.

I hope he meets the same fate as his favorite lawyer - Roy Cohn. Disgraced, broke, friendless.
