Germany 'mulling Guantanamo move'

LOL.
Beautiful und bescheuert.

Dem Deutsche Volk will be thrilled to have the terrorists in their country.

They will be comforted to know these terrorists will be released after a while, just as killer-terrorists from the Red Army Brigade (Rote Armee Fraktion) have been released.

Dumheit.

Mit Freundliche Grüße.

They should be able to go somewhere that they can stand trial and finally have a verdict. If Germany can provide that, then more power to them.

The Prisoners should be allowed to stay in US.

Its their mess, clean it up instead of dumping those who may have turned extreme due to torture over the years.

Right, so these savages are not welcome in thier home country you think we should release them in the US?

I agree, in a large field with a 10 second head start..... :shoot

That's hilarious. You write for SNL? Or are you a reporter for Der Spiegel?

What extreme torture? Waterboarding? Loud music? Drawing cartoons of Mohamed? Ooooooooooooooooooo.

I guess that will offend them and drive these kind and gentle souls to cut heads of people. Or set of IED's with joy. Or set off bombs in places like Nairobi, Bali, or fly planes into buildings in NY, and DC. Wait! they already were doing that.

Never mind.

How do you know their are savages? As I posted in another thread. Giving thousand of dollars to poor farmers isn't excactly a bullet proof method to get the real terrorist. Of course you can capture some foot soldiers but as easily the captured person can just be a profit scheem for the farmers.

You did read and properly understand what Laila wrote?

Try and find where she writes "extreme torture" for a start, that may give you a clue where you went wrong. :2wave:

The phrase "Trojan Horse" springs to mind?

I must be reading a different story from the one most posters here are reading. As I understand it, the story is about those prisoners who there is no evidence for prosecution and who cannot (for example the "Muslim Uighurs from western China's Xinjiang province") who may be at risk when / if they go back to China.

If the prisoners were possibly guilty there is no chance the US would release them. That means they are "not guilty" - but now they cannot be returned for fear of torture. "Not guilty" doesn't mean they are savages, it doesn't mean they should be released for local hicks to take pot shots at them - it means they have been falsely imprisoned.
