Over what?
I call this nonsense a bull**** smoke screen and an attempt to take emphasis off of other issues....
You see - the progressive brain is slow and loyal. This is "wag the dog."
Do you think it possible to say, what you mean in a manner that communicates, what you are trying to say?
I could but I choose not to...
You damn well know what I'm saying...... You dig Yoda?
Not really. Sounds rather incoherent to me.
Good, if you don't speak my language than why comment?
Germany doesn't need spies -
they're smart and they're successful. Contrary to the US.
Because the sounds were those of literate English and bore the feeling of incorrectness.
Why are we spying on Germany in the first place? they're hardly a threat...
Oh yeah - Obama is a ****ing moron that want's to look useful but doesn't want to out the real terrorists because they're brown - hence his buddies.
I see, you have not read up on German behavior. A country edging toward Russia and that regularly supplies technologies for WMD to countries like Syria, Libya or Iran must be spied on by any country with half responsible leaders.
Obama has contributed to our woes to be sure, but why is everything that is wrong with America Obama's fault?
The spying scandal ripping Germany and the U.S. apart has deep roots. For decades, current and former U.S. intelligence officials say, the CIA has sent agents into Germany without Berlin’s knowledge—in part, out of concerns that the German security state was penetrated by its Russian neighbors.
One Big Reason The CIA Spied on Germany: Worries About Russian Moles in Berlin - The Daily Beast
Why is it Obama's fault?
Why does Obama think he can circumvent congress?
If he is bold enough to do that then I can blame him.
Just a stroke of the pen eh?
Then its little wonder that the US needs to be spied upon.
Of course other countries want to spy on the US and they do unless their governments are reckless and irresponsible.
But wouldn't you feel rather like a clown to be surprised, get angry and rile about it? That would be like threatening nature for raining on your birthday.
For some odd reason, it doesn't appear that Mrs. Merkel feels like a clown. She knows that her personal phone, (as opposed to say phones at the US created BND), was spied upon. She's too pissed to be clowning.
I doubt very much that she is in any way "pissed". Only were she an idiot, which she is not, didn't she know the extent of spying going on. But she knows that her Volk is angry as the politicians have miss-represented the situation for decades and been doing things with NSA that would cost many of them not only their jobs but their freedom. So they are using the External Enemy Defense. That is so obvious it screams at you.
I think I made clear at the beginning of my post that I don't excuse Obama. But if you read the link, you'd have found that US spying on Germany has deep roots, DECADES. So if Obama is a moron for spying on Germany, what does that make Bush, Clinton, Bush.........?
Well, spying on other nations - and even on Business - is one thing.
Getting caught is another one.
For me it seems that US spies are as inefficient as US politicians if not to say the US economy.
HahahahahahahahaWhy are we spying on Germany in the first place? they're hardly a threat...
Oh yeah - Obama is a ****ing moron that want's to look useful but doesn't want to out the real terrorists because they're brown - hence his buddies.
We spy on everyone, I know this, however to make it an issue is inanity and downright dumb....
I just think it is a waste of money... Or a waste of an issue...
In an angry exchange with Barack Obama, Angela Merkel has compared the snooping practices of the US with those of the Stasi, the ubiquitous and all-powerful secret police of the communist dictatorship in East Germany, where she grew up
If she believes that, she is as dangerous as I thought.
PS: Thank you for explaining the Stasi to me and reminding me of he CV.
That wasn't the purpose of the post dude! In a phone call with Obama, Merkel expressed her anger. Which makes no sense if it was just for public consumption.
In what way does it make "no sense"?
