@Feldermus WW2 British tanks were crap they were no match on the ground against German tanks ... the English couldn't get out France quick enough they had to rely on the 51st Scottish Highland Division to help them escape and were thanked by being abandoned by London ... we you control the airspace like in Italy and after D Day air support made the difference and when British tanks faced German tanks in combat without air cover the British tanks lost ... the Soviet union won the war for every 1 German soldier the Western allies killed the Soviets kille 6 and they face 75% of the German armed forces meanwhile the Western allies faced a fraction in comparison and the Germans still reeked havoc on the western allies

What is it with Germans and their dog references? During WW I the Germans called the US Marine Corps "Teufelshunde." The USMC liked it, and kept the nickname. :cool:

My state Thüringen is center state of Germany, called green heart of Germany because forests. Ho,e of Goethe and Schiller as well as Martin Luther.

I'm currently living at Meck-Pom which is also great but miss my home. Im quite sure you would too, so i dont get why trying to talk omes home down.

India did not depart until 1948. Other territories later than that. Remnants of the empire remained into the 1990s when Hong Kong was abandoned.

US, China, Italy, UK, France, India, Russia, Spain and even Thailand. Japan and Turkey have carriers under construction.

Hell... The only major player without a carrier was Germany.

I dont talk your home down. I did not like what i saw. Thats my personal opinion. If you like it, thats fine.

Look, if i participate in a school exchange program, i usually cant chose where i get send. If i end up in Alabama, Kansas or Oklahoma or Arkansas i would be pissed as hell. Thats not meant as insult but the area you live in is fundamental different to Germany in a way that i think i would not like or enjoy. If you are happy tzere, then thats great. Im sure your state has positive aspects.
