Georgia grand jury returns indictment in Trump 2020 election case

An Atlanta-area grand jury returned an indictment Monday night after hearing from witnesses earlier in the day in the probe into whether former president Donald Trump and his associates broke the law when they sought to overturn Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia. Who has been indicted and the exact charges are not yet known.
The high-profile investigation, led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis (D), is widely expected to result in multiple charges for several defendants — including Trump and several close associates.

If Trump is convicted on any of the ten indictments, he would not be able to pardon himself, should he regretfully find himself back in the White House.

I'm old enough to remember when an investigation was enough to end one's candidacy.
It didn't even take that. A boat named Monkey Business and photos of an attractive woman on your lap is all it took.

The GOP's idea of appropriate behavior has changed a bit since then.

It’s amazing that the party who would say the country is worse off for turning towards secularism and away from the church would nominate such a man as Trump. The cognitive dissonance is record breaking
