If I were a true believer in ANY religion, I'd swear that God was smiting the left by sending down a destructive lightning bolt to remove their false profit! A stark lesson for those who deify violent felons, drug dealers and career criminals like George "Kirby" Floyd. But I'm not, so I'll refer to it as ironic, and maybe karma.

The guy forced his way into a pregnant woman's home in order to rob her at gunpoint in 2007. He's not a hero.

That's rich. "STOP the divisive, racist, identitarian intersectionality nonsense!"
Nobody thinks he's a hero, he's just the reminder that police don't have the right to kill anyone they deem guilty. Even if that person has robbed someone, or done something illegal in the past. They aren't judges, they apprehend. They're under the same law as civilians. Police aren't above the law, they just enforce it. Why is this so hard to understand?

But I see you're thrilled it was destroyed because you want to stop the division, right? LMAO. You're just keeping it going.

You see no humor in this?

Seriously?

People don't say he was a hero. They say he was a victim of police murder. Something you don't mention as you implicitly condone his murder. He wasn't a hero, he was a human being whose right to life was violated, and people are protesting hit murder.

I saw this laughed out loud.

It is so accurate and so specifically limited to one very particular PART of the wall.

This might NOT be the will of God, and, then again, it might be.

One thing for certain: The Squad members and Rev. All should probably stay indoors during lightning storms.

Just sayin'... ;)

About 50 unarmed African Americans are killed by police in an average year. That's about 30% of the overall number tragically killed by police as they perform their very difficult and dangerous duties.

There are more than 50 million encounters between police and civilians in an average year.

The frequency of an unarmed "Black" civilian death occurring in the course of a police encounter is about 1 in a million.

I assume the frequency increases when the encounter includes a previous offender who is high on drugs and is resisting arrest and ignoring instructions from police.

The simple truth of the matter is this: If you are murdered in America, you are dramatically more likely to have been killed by another Civilian than by a cop. You are also more likely to have taken your own life.

Within the numbers, though, you will also find that the majority of civilians killed by cops are not "Black". They are "White".

One the various complaints I have with the portrayal of this event by the propagandists in our media is the intentional and systemic omission of and inclusion of information that clouds the facts and supports a lie that you seem to embrace.

The propagandists did this with intent to deceive the weak minded.

Donald Trump Jr. is wondering if it is an act of God. Must be. A Trump said it.

George Floyd: An American Hero - August 2020

Houston mural honoring George Floyd is unveiled in front of his high school alma mater
(CNN) -- Houston, Texas, leaders unveiled a two-block mural Saturday, dedicated to George Floyd and located directly in front of his alma mater, Jack Yates High School.

"We come to celebrate the life and legacy of our hometown hero, Mr. George Floyd," Carl Davis, chairman for the Houston Society for Change, said during the dedication ceremony over the weekend.
So who's pushing "the divisive, racist, identitarian intersectionality nonsense" ?
(The left has been for around a decade now)

The premise of this argument is that if somebody committed a crime in the past, it’s okay to murder him. That’s some Purge shit right there.

Still you. You, and you.
If some people think of him as a hero, then they can. The big issue you're having is you don't want ANYbody to think of him as a hero. Good luck.

The guy shouldn't be dead as he was a victim if excessive use of police force, BUT, he was no hero deserving of statues, murals, etc. He was a criminal passing counterfeit bills, high on drugs, and resisting arrest. It does kind of make you wonder if the big guy upstairs was trying to make a statement.

"Nobody thinks he's a hero"
Does 'Nobody' include those groups who have claimed him as a hero?

Why do you care? I think your train of thought is too narrow to have a conversation with. You're just looking for gotchas, and whataboutisms.
It's not George Floyd, a man devoted and setting out to be a hero to all people. It's the case of George Floyd the was an exception to the rule that black people were used to that is the hero. His case stands for a lot of deaths. They praise the sacrifice that he didn't have a choice making for opening up the possibility of convicting an office of wrongful death. Those memorials are a reminder of when things changed.

If you can't wrap your head around that then this convo will go absolutely no where. I'll just hear, "but whatabout, but whatabout, gotcha, you said no hero, your zero, etc. If it's too big a concept, then you shouldn't post it for debate.

God controls China.
Not the blonde hair blue eyed American God the one and only true God. 😉. They believe in the more historically correct darker skinned God, he’s a false profit only American God counts you know.

Nah, he only listens to True Patriotic American Republicans blessed to live in his chosen land And does only the good stuff, the bad stuff and the rest of the world is controlled by the Godless Satanic Democrats who are doomed to a Sodom and Gomorrah existence. Don’t believe me listen to some talk radio and they’ll set you straight on what god counts and who he listens to.😉

Check the FBI crime statistics. There aren't that many black people killed at the hands of officers vs the number of interactions.
Here is a thread with video on this very topic: https://debatepolitics.com/threads/numbers-dont-like.454587/
If you look at each case, the most common thread is that the subject escalated the situation with their actions which prompted the unfortunate outcomes.

If you completely ignore the man's life in total, sure, make him a hero. But the true facts of the matter, he simply wasn't.

Mind you, this is no excuse nor any support for the events which lead up to the man's death.
