Yeah, he has ****ed over some folk there. But thankfully "socialism" (*cough* bailouts *cough*) can help a little. But the economy is aggregate, and on whole it's doing well. Now, I think there's a difference if you look at wealth disparity and household disposable income, cost of housing and cost of living, etc. And I think if you look there, it's probably a bit different picture. It's probably less that we're all doing better and more that the top 1% is doing really well and the bottom 90% is struggling. But why rain on a parade?

In the end, the news on the economy is overall positive and that will be accredited to Trump. It's something that is a big boon, likely the only boon, for Trump.

Impeachment is going very well. Removal in the Senate which is a snake pit of GOP blind obedience to corrupting the Constitution and evading their Constitutional authorities and responsibilities even as doing so denigrates their own institution is another story.

Kangaroo court I believe the republicans have been calling these proceedings. When it moves to the senate after trump is impeached today or tomorrow, depending on how much the republicans try slowing down the process, that's when we'll see the real kangaroo court in action. A trial with no witnesses to testify, interesting.

Very apropos to the faith that people put in their leaders in the FBI, DOJ and CIA only to find they tried to illegally remove a duly elected president. We need to be vigilant in making sure that rogue bad actors do not try to overthrow our president no matter what party he/she is from. Too many investigators thought he was an illegitimate president and that their agenda was the best and they needed to destroy him anf felt it was for the good of mankind. IOW, arrogant, elitist, self important career gubment workers.

Let me remind you and every other republican, trump lost the popular vote. In case you can't decipher what that means, more people voted for clinton. Duly elected by the electoral college. Fortunately, this whole scandal came out right before that interview and Trump administration was forced to release the aid, and so Zelensky quickly cancelled it. Why would he cancel it if this were true?

If you are correct, the Senate will convict. Are you serious about saying they will convict?

I'm a bit surprised at the effort to 'stop' a re-election of Trump. Over the past 3 years, Trump voters have been scolded by the media that they had it wrong, and now the democrats are impeaching. This certainly would conspire to make Trump voters change their tune and vote for the "correct" party come 2020 - no special effort required.

The only people that still like Trump are the 1500 or so toothless white meth addicts in an old coal mining town in Kentucky anyway - right? 99.9% of the population loves democrats because dems are "for" the 99.9%.
