I wish I lived where ever gas is this cheap. I travel quite a bit but obviously I've never been to those areas of the country now paying $1.95/gallon.



So DP mates, have you been to these wonderful areas where gas is cheap and there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?

First, Donald Trump would not be caught dead living anywhere where gas was that cheap.

Second, Trump sounds like a man has never looked at the price of gasoline, filled up his car at the pump or paid the gas station cashier in his life.
 
Nah, Trump doesn’t get to move the goalposts about the consumer’s price of gasoline per gallon to exclude taxes. Fuel taxes aren’t optional. He’s full of crap.

Average price is $2.996 to $2.88 per gallon. Subtract tax ($.339) and that's $2.657 to $2.541.

So not GA, maybe another state?

I think the prices are that low in the same areas they are hiding Obama's secret Kenyan birth certificate, cat eating Haitians, Jewish space lasers, cancer-causing wind turbines, autism-causing vaccines, and other such odds and ends- IOW, up Trump's ample nether regions.

But if he is explicitly saying California prices are high because of taxes, how are people concluding he is talking about prices minus taxes?

False. California does have the highest prices in the country for gasoline, but nowhere in California are the prices "$6-$7". (They are actually ~ $4.25 to $4.95)

That's true. In fact, the governor is the worst governor in California's history (since 1850). Gavin Newsom is the only California governor who caused people to FLEE the state due to poor governance.
