Given the events over the weekend, the wife and I plan to watch the McCain 2008 election film, "Game Change."

What interests me: Julianne Moore as Sarah. Anything to do with the kids. And, Woody Harrelson as Schmidt.

What interests my wife: I have no idea. Maybe I should ask her.

OK, I just did. Her answer, "I don't know. It has good people in it."

That works.

Anyone out there see the flick? If so, thoughts?

I tried my best to stomach it up until the part where they claim they had to start teaching the most elementary elements of history to Palin, like who fought in WW2. Nothing but a hit piece.

You'd be amazed at how many people have no idea that we were allied with the Soviet Union in WW2. Palin being one of them would not surprise me at all.

I'm sure she got the Nazi and Japanese part right. But, would she also know we fought against the Italians?

As JC said its decent at first but it turns into a hit piece

Here is McCain on it, "John McCain has said he would not be watching the movie, calling it inaccurate and criticizing the book upon which it is based. “It’s based on a book that is full of unattributed quotes, things that absolutely never happened"

I loved it. I thought it was great, and even if there was a fraction of truth to it, we dodged a huge bullet.

Did we? I mean, we ended up with Trump... ;)

Meh, you are right. But if we'd had Sarah Palin, we wouldn't have ended up with Trump. People wouldn't have elected him if they hadn't been so pissed that we elected an honorable, scandal-free black man.
