These people have been flogging this for almost a decade. All the hand waving and breathless “reporting” is a naked attempt to stroke the MAGA erogenous zones so they let the refusal to release the Epstein files slide.

It’s right there in the last sentence of the article.

Now you are arguing perception, alignment to one side over the other as a means to suggest misrepresentation from Democrats is worse that Republicans. There will be times that is true, other times where that is not true, and I doubt your objectiveness to agree to that.

Democrats lying about Biden's obvious decline is worse than Trump forgetting he appointed Powell in some statement bashing him. Trump lying about the 2020 election outcome fueling the Jan 6th attempt to prevent certification of the vote is worse than Biden lying about the inflation rate when he came into office.

Those are just examples.

The Steele Dossier was discredited long before Gabbard announced these documents. The assertion of Russian collusion is not credible.

I'm not afraid to go where the facts lead me. I'm not sure you can credibly say the same.

The evidence coming forward is not 'manufactured bullshit', as you call it. There actually was a conspiracy to overturn the election of 2016 by high level politicians and our intelligence agencies. Denial does not change the truth. The propagandists each worked hard in promoting the lies through repetitive words and phrases to seal the deal in the minds of Americans. This is actual recent history.

Isn't that a subjective assessment though? Which lies were "worse" is purely a matter of opinion. I prefer to write off both sides as being equally dishonest, manipulative, and untrustworthy. Basically, don't believe anything either of them say.

Yeah, and Trump worked very hard to try and overturn an election that he lost. Both sides manufacture bullshit. If you buy into either one, you're lost too. Don't believe anything the Democrats or Republicans say, they're exactly the same.

Impact to the nation - lying about the President being healthiest ever and less than 6 months later its revealed his swollen ankles mean he has serious health issues is not an impact on the nation?

I have no problem with the assertion Trump lies, even by Washington standards. That does not excuse the Democrats when they lie.

Jan. 6th is kindergarten sandbox compared to what the corrupt democrats did in 2016. Hell, for that matter Jan. 6th was nothing compared to the riots of the democrats during the summer of 2020......there is no comparison. The Democrats are far more violent and corrupt than the Republicans.

The Steele Dossier was about a pee tape. The Mueller report was about Russian collusion, identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump campaign, found that Trump associates repeatedly lied to investigators about their contacts with Russians, and that President Trump attempted to impede the investigation and influence witnesses. It found that Russian interference in the 2016 election was sweeping and systematic, and aimed to help Trump. We all (except perhaps you) remember Trump openly calling for Russia to release Clinton's emails, and his sons meeting with a Russian in Trump tower for dirt on Clinton. After all that, Mueller expressly declined to exonerate Trump, instead accepting DOJ policy at the time that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

Since then, Trump policy has overwhelmingly benefitted Russia.
