Against amazing odds the New York Football Giants won their NFL record 10th straight road game and 3rd straight road playoff game with a thrilling overtime win against the great Brett Favre and the legendary Green Bay Packers! Woohoo!

The Giants lost the first game of the season 38-28 to the Cowboys.

The Giants lost the second game of the season 35-13 to the Packers.

The Giants lost the last game of the regular season 38-35 to the Patriots.

The Giants beat the Cowboys in the NFC Divisional Playoffs 21-17

The Giants beat the Packers in the NFC Championship in overtime 23-20

Can they now avenge their loss to the Pats and win the Super Bowl and destroy the Patriots perfect season?

New York vs. Boston! Woohoo!

I hate the patriots more than aids, but there's no way the giants don't get blown out. Sheli will have at least 2 INTs

Eli's showing that he might be more than Peyton's little brother:cool:

That was a bad *** game, proof that the NFC is where it's always been. :2razz:

Everybody's been lookin' past New York and got left standing there looking dumb.:2wave::lol:

You very well might be right and I would not be shocked if that happens...on the other hand the "G" Men are playing great right now and in football momentum and confidence mean so much....

Plus if they continue to not turn the ball over then they have a chance...and let's face it the Pats are due to lose one! ;)

I don't consider the Giants a Cinderella. That's a pretty good football team.

Still... the Pats are in a unique class of pigskin lore never before attained.

Poor Tiki! :rofl

Timing is everything.

The Patriots might be the best team ever, Brady might be the best QB ever and Belichek might be the best coach ever...It's a rough one for Big Blue but they definitely have a shot.

Or they may be the best cheaters ever.;)

Come on Giants!

I hate 'em in almost any other game, but boy I hate the patriots more...

An 18-1 finish would make my year. :)

Q: Would a Giants win overtake the Jets of Super Bowl III as the Greatest Super Bowl Upset of All Time?

I don't think so...that win in 1969 was so unexpected and no one had given the Jets a chance.

If the Giants win on Sunday it would be a big upset but not in the same category....

Ironically, if the Giants win, it could be put up there with the Patriots win over the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.... the Rams were favored by 14 and really nobody was giving the Patriots much of a chance...

No doubt it would be GIGANTIC () upset! My heart says "Giants" my brain says "at least make it a close game"!

Didn't NY used to have some decent sports teams? Sure a shame that they all suck so bad now NYers have been reduced to rooting for an out-of-state team. :rofl

And don't forget the 1969 Mets either. :)

Champs and TOJ; stop the personal attacks, now. And thank you guys. This is my first post, ever in the Sports Talk Forum.

The giants can beat them. The pats really slowed to a crawl the last five games but they won them all. To me it is who is better prepaired I would never bet this game and don't care who wins because there are two potentially great stories here. "Let's get it on"!!
