G-7

Except I asked for your opinion on what comes after the attacks, given they are broader than just ending nuclear capabilities.
Ok, I must have missed that. What comes after is an Iran who is not a nuclear threat to anyone and has a deeply reduced number of ballistic missiles. And with any luck the regime will fall and the people of Iran will be free of tyranny. And I think I have said that already as well.

When you come across a smart lib who can actually debate an issue, be sure to let me know. Until then, im going to stand by post #165
Is that the post where you said Iran should be “finished off”? You’re trying too hard. As a courtesy if you require intelligence you should probably bring some. Well I’ve reached my limit on low IQ drain circling with @Fletch. You have yourself an okayish day.

I mean, if your responses are limited to "KILL THE BAD GUYZ F YEAH!! Then I'll know not to ask questions requiring more thought and explanation.
:)
First of all, I dont care what you do. And second if you are really interested in an actual discussion of the issue, you can review my discussion with @OlNate

Well, lets see. In May of last year Biden released 66,000 border crossers into the interior of the country. In May of 2025, that number was zero with illegal crossings between point of entry down 93%. So the solution to the border problem was indeed quite simple--get rid of Biden
Biden wasn't President when Trump started the wall.

How is the wall going?

Well, bye. You came to this thread with the sole purpose of trolling and your exit can only elevate the level of debate.

Err. G-7? I guess we're not talking about that then. So....

Iran is being attacked for refusing to build nuclear weapons since 2003 and up until very recently cooperating with international monitoring authorities but is rather preparing to be ready if it ever needs them further down the road. Iranian missile and drone production are also contested issues despite many countries having that capability including the attacker in this conflict. These attacks are being carried out by a country which illegally developed nuclear weapons and which still refuses to allow international oversight of those weapons and the means to produce them. That country has been routinely attacking neighbouring states long before the atrocities of Oct. 7th occurred and has killed tens of thousands of civilians and displaced hundreds of thousands over the course of its 77 year existence. It is now contemplating displacing millions. Of course Trump is going to support these attacks and defend the attacking State of Israel from the consequences of the attack it chose to launch. Refueling tankers are already being moved into the region and presumably strike aircraft from land and sea will follow. GBU-57 BB bombs are being talked about but some Iranian facilities are so deep and well reinforced that neither they nor the improved versions with a penetrating depths of 61 meters will do the job. The only things that will get the job done are either boots on the ground raids to demolish these facilities which will be very costly or nuclear bunker buster bombs. How convenient that when you blow up these sites that you can explain away and nuclear explosions as secondary detonations of highly enriched (60%) uranium under the compression of conventional BB bombs, eh!

The State of Israel and the Iranian Islamic Republic are both menaces to world peace and human survival. Both should be disarmed of their nuclear capabilities by either negotiation or by force as a last resort. Too be fair the greatest threats are Russia and Trumps UnUnited States of America which if either breaks up will be a very, very dangerous situation. Drop Putin, Trump, Netanyahu and Khamenei into a modern-day oubliette and let them kill and feast upon one another until the last one starves in exalting triumph. A pox on them all.

With disgust.

I dont think any more wall has been built. It seems we didnt need an actual wall, just a president willing to enforce the immigration laws already on the books. Thats pretty simple as well, no?

That's nice.

I did, but that exchange didn't go into detail about what I asked. Now that you've stated your position is to neuter Iran's missile capabilities with the hopes there will be regime change, at least that's a position you've taken. I ask because there's moving goal posts as to what the objectives are, and Netanyahu and Trump have made threatening comments about regime change. The issue for Israel is they can't do that militarily, which is what they're relying on the US for by dragging it into the conflict.

G-7 Meeting? Any comments? I thought that Carney handled it well. The new nomenclature of the G-6+1 which emerged during the meetings by media outlets was telling. Trump turning his back on Modi, Zelenskyy and Sheinbaum was tacky and may have long term costs for the Trump Administration (I hope). The sight of a fawning welcome for India's Modi on Canadian soil was a bit disgusting but realpolitik demanded it I guess. I hope Canada and Mexico talked long and hard about trading to circumvent US tariffs impacts by increasing direct trade with each other. I'm glad Carney decided to offer 2.3 billion in loan guarantees financed by interest on seized Russian assets to Ukraine and to provide another 2 billion in Canadia war materiel and off the shelf weapons systems from Europe or further afield. Just as long as not one dollar is spent on US arms and munitions suppliers, then I will remain happy.

Perhaps its time to contemplate a global trade system without the USA. One where countries refuse to channel or allow investment in America and trade with each other while the US economy contracts and withers under Trump. It is that investment and the flows of revenues from intellectual property and US services and profits from foreign branch plants which balloon the US economy and make it so rich that it can afford to buy so much from others and to run long-term trade deficits in goods. Redirect that money/capital to the global economy outside of the USA and we all can improve our lots marginally while an isolationist and sovereigntist USA flounders in the doldrums of a global trade shift which wants nothing to do with presidential oath-breakers, serial trade deal-breakers and coteries of habitual liars.

Be well and be safe.
