I am a veteran and it seems that the veterans over 75 years old are able to get the appointments rather easily. In addition, there was no wait. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I have been trying to get an appointment for my wife (she too is 75) at other locations where they are giving shots in Miami. She is not a veteran (they are not giving shots to spouses there) and no appointments are available anywhere. Sigh.

You may be right. I have a friend who is a veteran. He is 78. He got a vaccination at the VA in Connecticut this past week. I do not know anyone else who has been vaccinated yet except a physician in Texas who does procedures on people's hearts! (interventional cardiologist)

I'll get vaccinated roughly when hell freezes over. Hey, not complaining. I'm not elderly and I'm not a health care worker. In fact, there's literally no essential, socially redeeming value an artist has for getting vaccinated.
