Just giving crooks more money isn’t going to solve anything. What’s the federal government going to do for money?

It's just that the decision for how to spend it would be left in the hands of local officials. If your local officials are corrupt that sucks, but if you're local officials are honest then wouldn't that be better than having Mitch McConnell alone decide how all that money is used?

I’ve READ and RE-READ your posts several times. You still don’t seem to grasp the fact that the federal government has billions of mandatory spending so leaving federal tax revenues at the local level would require additional FEDERAL revenue AKA taxes. Also federal spending and tax bill originate in the House so it isn’t Mitch McConnell you should bitch at but Nancy Pelosi.

False. All Congress has to do is allocate the money itself. Pick a dollar amount. $901 billion is what they came up with for the covid relief. The difference would simply be that they would return that money to local authorities based upon the percentage of taxes raised from that locality.
They don't have to give all federal tax revenue back.

And where do you think that allocated money would come from? You do understand we’re BORROWING that COVID relief money, right? Ever hear of something called the defict or the National Debt?

Isn’t your premise that federal tax revenue should be given to local authorities?
