Fox's media criticism show ignores News Corp. donations to GOP-aligned groups | Media Matters for America

On today's edition of Fox News' purported media analysis show, Fox News Watch, host Jon Scott and the show's panelists lined up to disparage President Obama's recent criticism of their network as pushing a "destructive" political viewpoint. But somehow, the show ran out of time before the panelists could discuss the recent revelation that Fox parent News Corp. gave $1 million to an organization spending tens of millions of dollars to defeat Democratic congressional candidates.
Politico's Ben Smith has reported that according to a source "close to News Corp.," the company believed the donations were "supposed to be secret." Fox News Watch is certainly doing everything it can to keep them that way.

What would a day be, without another Media Matters attack on Fox.

Someone once wrote on another board, that masturbating to a pin-up girl is much healthier than doing so to Media Matters attack pieces. His point was, that doing so to a pin-up girl releases frustrations, rather that feeding them and fostering hatred... Something to keep in mind.

So the president disparaged Fox news as having a destructive political viewpoint because he can't tolerate criticism and he views those who disagree with him politically as enemies. The panel on Fox news called him on it and they were wrong to call him on it because they've given money to help elect people who don't think they have a destructive political viewpoint. Is that about right?
