Just over half of voters want President Trump impeached and removed from office, according to a Fox News Poll released Wednesday.

A new high of 51 percent wants Trump impeached and removed from office, another 4 percent want him impeached but not removed, and 40 percent oppose impeachment altogether. In July, 42 percent favored impeachment and removal, while 5 percent said impeach but don’t remove him, and 45 percent opposed impeachment.

And it's only going to get worse as they learn how absurd Trump's lies about Biden are.

Then you have Giuliani's people arrested.

We haven't even touched on Rick Perry's people in Ukraine.

Corruption, corruption everywhere.

Where was the poll taken and who were polled? In Washington DC?
Biden's situation smells to high heaven. Hunter Biden got millions from Ukraine and then China as a board member on a corrupt company that was being investigated and all of a sudden Joe Biden says fire the prosector if you want money from the US. You don't find fault there? That is why Trump supporters have a hard time believing your stick. That and the many, many failed attempts since election day to find a way to impeach an elected President. I guess you didn't hear Hillary when she said people should be prepared to accept the results of the election. LOL.

51%... Less than 3% higher than HRC's popular vote total in 2016, which consisted of Americans who wanted to impeach Trump prior to the inauguration , bless their hearts. These polls typically have a plus/minus of 3%, so not much has really changed in 3 years- people who've wanted to circumvent American law and standards to deny Trump the presidency since his victory still feel the same way today.

Half the population is below average intelligence - I sense a correlation.

I think it's Trump who lost educated people by a huge margin. Trump's base is largely uneducated.

I don't blame the uneducated for falling for a con man. It's the educated fools I blame.

Ask any New Yorker, Trump was always a sleazy guy. If that Trump university scam didn't tip you off, I don't know what will.

I found it interesting that over 50% of respondents said they thought the Trump administration was more corrupt than other administrations. And there was an option for "just as".

This poll could actually be good news for Trump, if a majority of independents don't support impeachment.
Until you read further and see that over 60% said it is not appropriate for Trump to request info on political rivals (just Independents).

Plus keep in mind this is a Fox News poll, so even those identifying as Independents likely have a little more biased towards the right than normal population.

Appropriate for Trump to ask foreign leaders to investigate rivals?

NO: 66% Yes: 25%

That's brutal. That's the basis of his impeachment.

Those are the kinds of numbers where Republicans in purple states turn on you.

I think we're finally seeing the collapse of the Trump cult. 25% is Nixon after the tapes numbers. I think the trial will prove conclusively that that is exactly what Trump did.

I believe the fox poll has an 8.5% margin of error. Anything over 2% is considered garbage

I'd say Independants were under-represented if this was the breakdown. Democrats and Republicans were over represented.

Democratic, Republican Identification Near Historical Lows
Story Highlights

42% identify as independents, 29% as Democrats, 26% as Republicans
Independent identification at least 40% for fifth consecutive year
Democrats maintain edge over GOP in party identification and leaning
Polls can be manipulated in any number of ways to produce the pollsters desired outcome. I dont put much stock in them in general

When you consider 48% of the people polled are democrats its really not surprising at all.

Its not a poll of fox viewers. They randomly sample like the other polls do

Sounds like democrats now have bipartisan support to impeach this president, when can we expect the vote?

Not really since they were pretty well countered by the Republicans.

When they have all the evidence they can get. Why not present as much as you can get your hands on, cover all bases, dot all those i's, cross all those t's?
