Donna Brazile out at CNN amid leaks to Clinton campaign
October 31, 2016:
Donna Brazile, the acting chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, resigned from her role as a CNN contributor earlier this month.
Her departure was announced Monday amid fresh revelations that she sent questions to Hillary Clinton's campaign in advance of a CNN debate and a CNN-TV One town hall.
In a statement, CNN said it was "completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor."
Call me more than a little shocked. I hope she doesn't take any crap from them (and punches Hannity and Pirro when she gets the first chance).

The more talent Fox hires, the less CNN has. She was probably quite constrained in what she could say. CNN, and has to be a horrible place to work when you are prevented from saying what you believe. She is too laid back and has too much gravitas to put up with the screeching creeps at CNN.
Compared to the democrats today, she is right wing.
Lastly, the Mueller probe will end eventually and there will be chaos in the news business, and Fox is realigning now.
I care as little about Fox News as I do about any of the other mainstream media, but this article has a very good analysis of this move for anyone who is interested: Goofy, Albeit Predictable, Decision: Fox News Hires Donna “Debate-Gate” Brazille… | The Last Refuge
I am excited by the opportunity to share my perspective and views with the Fox News audience and to help shape the dialogue at this important juncture in our history. More importantly, I’m eager to learn from the experience.

In order for us to best decide as a people how to better protect and preserve our way of life, we need to first be able to hear what others are saying without the filter of bias and contempt. Not until we once again become practiced at treating those of differing views with civility and respect can we begin to join together to solve the myriad of problems our country must overcome.
I fully admit that in my previous lives as a campaign staffer, presidential campaign manager and Democrat Party official, my own lack of civility in the heat of battle has been on full display. And it wasn’t pretty. I should have been wise enough and humble enough to have listened to my mother, Jean, who so often would tell me, the third of nine children, to shut up and allow my siblings to speak, and to listen - really listen - to what they had to say. She knew I wasn’t listening so much as I was pausing before launching again into an argument. My mother tried to teach us Brazile kids a lesson we all need to heed as citizens: Listen more, talk less. Be civil to one another. Find common ground. Contempt is hatred towards others. These are the lessons and the attitude I will bring to Fox News.

I have always believed that what Americans share in common is a lot stronger than what drives us apart, and that the best decisions are made in the spirit of mutual respect. I have always had good friends on the other side of the aisle. Former Republican National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie and Michael Steele are men who I have known for decades. Former Bush-Cheney strategist and home girl Mary Matalin helped me survive so many challenges that we now refer to each other as “Towanda,” a term of endearment from the classic film “Fried Green Tomatoes.”
(snip)
Will I agree with my fellow commentators at Fox News? Probably not. But I will listen. Will I question them if they make assertions about hard-working Americans, low-income people and issues like climate change that I disagree with? Absolutely. But I will do so with civility and respect. I will also freely admit the weaknesses in liberal arguments and the strength in conservative positions. And I welcome the opportunity to challenge many of the false assumptions about progressives, especially those newly elected to Congress.
To leave the world a better place, you need to help make the world a better place. Just as it takes many ingredients to make a good gumbo, it will require listening to many voices before we are able to move forward as one people. And that’s exactly why I am so excited to join the honest and passionate debate at Fox News about our future. I invite you to join me.
Why would she be going there in the first place? Fox knows her history ... God knows they blew it up enough when that debate thing happened. Is this a move by Fox or Brazile?
Thank you for the link; good read. I'm not sure about the last statement here:
Ms. Brazile’s integrity and credibility was shredded and even the far-left ideologues at CNN HQ were forced to fire her. In short, she’s a liar, a proven manipulator and an unapologetic fraud. Yes, this cloud has now transferred over the head of all Fox media voices, pundits and contributors; including Sara Carter and Dan Bongino, who will be contractually obligated to defend her or lose their paychecks.
I can't see Dan Bongino sucking it up.
Nota, what exactly makes CNN 'Far left'? As far as American politics goes, I consider myself to be far-left on an economic front, but am opposed to CNN and MSNBC for their obvious Dem-party bias, which is to say, I actually feel that they are to right of me. The big stink about Donna is that she handed over questions to the establishment Dem candidate, the one that was obviously pro-Wall St. and pro-corporate in general.
Or perhaps we're talking about the lip-service this side of the 'left' likes to pay to social issues?
Given the fact that "Ex-Fox News President Roger Ailes Fed Trump 2015 Presidential Debate Questions" it seems like it is an appropriate partnership. :shrug:Oh this is going to work out really well.....

Hilarious, considering the people you HAVE supported and the fact you have, on multiple occasions, claimed an inability to click a link to receive the facts which would change your mind.Would I hire her? No. She cheated.

You wouldn't hire her because she is not of your political beliefs. That's it. That is all you have ever shown me you care about.
I was not trying to read anyone's mind. Perhaps you need to re-read what I said again?Trying your mind-reading abilities again?
I feel like you think you're making sense, but you're not.es it's the same result... FAIL!
Yes...what does that have to do with the fact the leader of Fox News gave one of the candidates questions, just like Brazille did?Do you realize that Ales is dead?
:lamo :lamo :lamoThe story you linked to is nothing but gossip, pure nasty gossip.
Given that you self-define as being to the left of CNN, etc., I can see why you would be perplexed because you certainly have a different perspective. But I was quoting somebody else, and the key sentence for me was "In short, she’s a liar, a proven manipulator and an unapologetic fraud." That's the issue for me. Would I hire her? No. She cheated.

In terms of perception, I view MSNBC and CNN to have more of a corporatist slant than an actual liberal one. They're all rich, stuck in an elitist bubble, and beholden to corporate advertising. We live in a day and age when a non-interventionist like Gabbard gets the piss taken out of her because she's against unneccessary military action . . . but so-called leftist media. To me, that's just nuts, and not indicative of a leftist idealogical slant.

Jane Mayer's is a leftist reporter for The New Yorker, says it all. There is no factual evidence that she points too. More mumbo jumbo that you lifties eat up.
That is hilarious that the thing Fox railed about her they did themselves. They are so damn dishonest.

Fox, however, may have given Trump a little help. A pair of Fox insiders and a source close to Trump believe that Ailes informed the Trump campaign about Kelly’s question. Two of those sources say that they know of the tipoff from a purported eyewitness. In addition, a former Trump campaign aide says that a Fox contact gave him advance notice of a different debate question, which asked the candidates whether they would support the Republican nominee, regardless of who won. The former aide says that the heads-up was passed on to Trump, who was the only candidate who said that he wouldn’t automatically support the Party’s nominee—a position that burnished his image as an outsider.
