"Four San Francisco protesters hit by car in ‘possible intentional act’..."

The point of a protest is to win people over - not to piss them off. To make a statement.

Obstructing traffic doesn't win anyone over. It's stupid and counterproductive. And it's breaking the law. Protest in an appropriate location.

The point of a protest is NOT to win people over, LOL.

It is to make a statement, yes.

It is. You are trying to convince people that you are right. To show people that you are supporting a position and taking a stand.

Ignorant statements are still ignorant statements. Maybe you forgot.........

I am curious, since this protestor stood in a road as well, should the Chinese tank have driven him over?

How about protests that invade a government building?

It's amazing to me how whiny Righties have become, everything is boo hoo, wah wah. A shame those on the Right - who love to talk tough - have to act like such wimps.

No. You are trying to bring an injustice to light.

You are also showing that you are not going to shut up and take an injustice lying down.

Did Jan. 6 make everyone love the "protesters"? Was their intention to convince people they were right by pissing on the Capitol building, busting in windows, beating up cops and going through hallways with zip ties chanting the names of the politicians they intended to "find"?

It’s not about convincing anyone.
I guess MAGA doesn’t know about protesting and its meaning.

Enrique Tarrio is an existential threat to the republic.
Yep they were here in Atlanta all 5 of them trying to provoke violence with their Yellow and black flags and one of them got the snot beat out of him after he assaulted a protester

Trump will probably send in NG and Marines to help support Proud Boys

[deflection removed]
No, the goal is to persuade people to support your cause. Making people mad at you isn't going to do that.

That's exactly the point of a protest. You want to convince people to support your side of the issue - not to drive them away.

So, to be clear, you right to block the road trumps my right to drive on it. Explain that constitutional reasoning for me.
I don't block roads. I just don't think anyone but a Trumpist looks at people exercising free speech and concludes that the equal and opposite reaction is vehicular homicide...

Maybe not. I cut and paste directly from the Guardian.
"In San Francisco, at least four “No Kings” protesters in San Francisco were struck by a motorist who then fled the scene, according to NBC News. Law enforcement detained the individual, and stated that the protesters suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, tens of thousands of protesters are filling the streets across the Bay Area. The No Kings protests come on the heels of constant anti-Ice protests in San Francisco in solidarity with the anti-Ice Los Angeles protests."

Ibid.

There was an incident here in Virginia too. Couldn't have anything to do with Republican lawmakers saying it's okay to use their cars to own the libs.
Lying about what was said says more about you then it does the person you are lying about.

It's no lie. Republican lawmakers are literally writing bills allowing people to run over protesters.
It is a lie. No one is writing a bill that just allows people to run over protesters.

You know it, I know it so why you think lying is going to do anything but embarrass yourself is beyond me.

But hey let’s see you back up your claim. Let’s see a bill that allows people to just run over protesters.

What, just now?
