Is "Taco" supposed to be some kind of a dig at the president? lol.

The disruptive "protests" have had zero impact on his policy. That change is tied to agriculture and other business interests giving feedback to the administration.

Beanbag or kinetic less-than-lethal 12 gauge slugs could work to pulverize a snake to death without severely damaging a wooden deck. But it would almost certainly dent or at least leave a Hell of a scuff mark on the decks.

A broom would work to remove a snake from a deck, and would make more sense than blasting it with a shotgun. And this is a semi-regular occurrence, according to the story.

A car driving on a sidewalk is not exercising due care. And any legal protest means no immunity.

Yeah. Even if the person in question were some kind of magical shotgun surgeon, that deck would be ruined.
