A protest > sum of all protests on the day is a change. Even in the largest of cities these were in the tens of thousands - not millions.

You clearly don't get the point of protests. They are supposed to be disruptive, to attract attention and make as strong an impression as possible upon the object of the demonstration, and not sanitised, hidden away somewhere else. Otherwise what is the point?

Anyone seen video of the mall today? Burning wreckage of police cars, graffiti, trash ? No doubt millions watched on TV. Whole day devoted to 250 birthday celebration on several networks and streams. Quite a contrast from the feckless protests around the country.

I live in the DC metro area. I don't know anyone who went to the parade or watched it on TV. Which networks showed it all day?

How far away and how long ago do not change the circumstances. If anything, they are more likely now than they were 30 years ago. I understand protestors moving to encircle your car can be dangerous for both sides. If that is not the case here, the driver needs to be prosecuted.

You're stating this as if the man somehow felt he was in imminent, immediate danger (as if this were currently happening right, left and center)...hence he was forced to drive forward *into* the crowd (that he wasn't in the middle of until he drove there electivelyl), accellerating quickly.

That's a self-defense move?

Where exactly was that burning wreckage of police cars, graffiti and trash? I want a video. Other than a few MAGA agitators, those protests were pretty calm and respectful.

I mean it's from the Floyd protests and it wasn't San Francisco but eh, 2020, 2025, what's the difference, amiright? LOS ANGELES AND SAN FRANCISCO ARE IN FLAMES !!1!1!!!!!! The 2020 Floyd video proves it.

Let's not quibble numbers, dates, the actual event, etc.

For instance, I have a pic of the Chicago Fire, proving there is currently a massive fire in Detroit.

It only works in mass usually. Confront Kevin on the street alone and deliberately inconvenience him, make him late, and in general interfere with his right to travel...and you might take home a goose egg and a shiner for souvenirs of your solo protest.
