"Four San Francisco protesters hit by car in ‘possible intentional act’..."

No, its actually not an exaggeration and Im not shifting anything. You dont want it to be true, but it is. Its the biggest US protest in our time
A protest > sum of all protests on the day is a change. Even in the largest of cities these were in the tens of thousands - not millions.

Yes, that is what I said. To keep protesters and the public safe, and minimize disruption to people trying to live their lives and conduct business.

Blocking active streets is pointless and self defeating to the protestors - as well as being unsafe, and disruptive.
You clearly don't get the point of protests. They are supposed to be disruptive, to attract attention and make as strong an impression as possible upon the object of the demonstration, and not sanitised, hidden away somewhere else. Otherwise what is the point?

Yeah back it up with links dude. Even the conservative numbers are over 6 million.
Estimates in the range of 5 million, which isn't even close to 11. And that's probably estimating high.

Look at you celebrate a failure of decency.
Failure of any sense whatsoever. My posts are a public service to those who would obstruct roadways. Expect to be run overred and you won't be surprised when it happens.

Still doing it. Still justifying murder for jaywalking.

What happened to your 1 million lmao. How many went to Trump’s parade? Sour grapes dude
Anyone seen video of the mall today? Burning wreckage of police cars, graffiti, trash ? No doubt millions watched on TV. Whole day devoted to 250 birthday celebration on several networks and streams. Quite a contrast from the feckless protests around the country.

The organizers of the local event, here, did a bang-up job of establishing the ground rules. Stay out of the road. Ignore the maga hatters. No chanting at the police.

All good advice.
Seems like in the face of official and other incitements to vehicular violence, organization going forward has to include how to minimize the opportunities for maga street thugs.
What changed with the above?

I live in the DC metro area. I don't know anyone who went to the parade or watched it on TV. Which networks showed it all day?

First off, I am again saying that under some circumstances, drivers aren't given a choice. Protestors have been known to damage cars and threaten drivers and people in cars.

How far away and how long ago do not change the circumstances. If anything, they are more likely now than they were 30 years ago. I understand protestors moving to encircle your car can be dangerous for both sides. If that is not the case here, the driver needs to be prosecuted.

Yes they do. You're stating this as if the man somehow felt he was in imminent, immediate danger (as if this were currently happening right, left and center)...hence he was forced to drive forward *into* the crowd (that he wasn't in the middle of until he drove there electivelyl), accellerating quickly.

That's a self-defense move?

Where exactly was that burning wreckage of police cars, graffiti and trash? I want a video. Other than a few MAGA agitators, those protests were pretty calm and respectful.

Well, there's a vid of burning cars.

I mean it's from the Floyd protests and it wasn't San Francisco but eh, 2020, 2025, what's the difference, amiright? LOS ANGELES AND SAN FRANCISCO ARE IN FLAMES !!1!1!!!!!! The 2020 Floyd video proves it.

Let's not quibble numbers, dates, the actual event, etc.

For instance, I have a pic of the Chicago Fire, proving there is currently a massive fire in Detroit.

Nope, and I don't exonerate or excuse him. It all depends on the circumstances. Which is why I am outlining the other set of circumstances.

How is protesters pulling people out of cars and beating them "the other set of circumstances"?

That happened in this crowd?

That's how protests work, not by writing polite letters to whoever. The whole point of protests is to make a point, and if Kevin is slightly inconvenienced and a bit late for dinner, so what?

It only works in mass usually. Confront Kevin on the street alone and deliberately inconvenience him, make him late, and in general interfere with his right to travel...and you might take home a goose egg and a shiner for souvenirs of your solo protest.
