Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) is set to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this week

She outlasted every candidate in the primaries except Biden and Bernie. Including Harris, Warren, Buttigieg, Klobuchar...

Gabbard consistently polled in single digits in national polls. Gabbard polled at 1% in several major polls.[91][92][93] In a poll conducted between July 9 and 18 of registered Democrats in New Hampshire, Gabbard and former Representative Beto O'Rourke were tied in sixth place at 2%. On August 19, 2019, Gabbard garnered 4.8% of the Iowa State Fair Straw Poll, placing 7th in a field of 24.[94][95][96] On August 23, 2019, Gabbard's campaign stated that she had received 2% or more in 26 national and statewide polls, but only two of the polls were certified by the DNC.[97] Gabbard received 4% in the early primary states subset of two non-qualifying Morning Consult national polls from August 25[98] and September 1.[99][100] On September 4 she received 1% in the same states in qualifying polls sponsored by CBS News.

Between the debates of July 31 and September 12, Gabbard's polling average in New Hampshire was 1% in one debate-qualifying poll and 4.6% in five non-qualifying polls. By November 27, Gabbard held the fifth position in New Hampshire with 5% in the RealClearPolitics polling average.[101]

In early February 2020, Gabbard received 1.8% in the national polling average[102] and 4.7% in the New Hampshire polling average.[103] A national poll in March 2020 gave her 5%.
[104]

and then later:

Following the suspension of the campaigns of all the Democratic Party candidates except Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders by early March 2020, Gabbard became the only woman or person of color still in the presidential race. She told ABC News she was staying in the race because it is "an opportunity to speak to Americans every single day about the sea change we need in our foreign policy."[117]

Who cares? Democrats don't like her, so she ran to the fascists.
Well, DEmocrats clearly like her more than do VP Harris. Huge problem for your party.

I'm going to have to start watching Carlson. He must be doing something right given the angst he engenders in the loon crowd.

A token? Nah. An opportunist looking for $$$ and political power? Absolutely. She failed as a Democrat, so she's running to the idiots on the right, same as Trump
She wasn't even given a chance by her own party. She was dismissed because she wasn't a member of the Prog Squad and/or she wasn't a recycled candidate.

She was given a chance. She ran a campaign, she participated in debates, and very few people voted for her. She was a pretty lackluster candidate, though I see many Republican men think she is "hot"

Gabbard was never considered an "evil" Democrat. She has always been considered reasonable and has been consistent in a message of unity and working together. Now, this means that the nutbags on the left had to hound her and drive her away, like they have done to many of the honest and reasonable people on the left.

I've followed her for a while and she's a better person than all of the haters, and it's not even close.

You know who was a bigger failed Democrat? Your VP, who Gabbard absolutely destroyed in the debates and never recovered.

homeboy was seething so much when he wrote that post, he didn't even know what he was really typing. That's what happens when the right wing fever swamp swallows you whole.

I kept waiting to see if there would be an edit, but nope.

You can't date her.....so you hate her.....................right?

Yeahhh when this forum’s resident nazi started cheering for her i kinda knew something was up.

She failed to get the votes.

I'm of the firm opinion that attractive women politicians almost invariably wind up conservatives, and Tulsi is no exception.

Really? What about attractive men?

I don't know how male politicians gravitate party-wise in terms of their attractiveness. I just know which party's got the ugliest one right now.

To some maybe.

Being the dipshit that she is....... turns people off.

Honors Grad from Boston University.

Worked as a waitress, now is a sitting member of the House of Representatives.

You're very intimidated by her intelligence and ambition, obviously.

I'm going to have to start watching Carlson. He must be doing something right given the angst he engenders in the loon crowd.

You'll fit right in.

Only because they smeared her for dissing Queen Hillary.
. Gawd you do this with every “independent woman” its the libs fault! You guys dont give a shit about personal responsibility.

Sure...That's why Tulsi is speaking at CPAC.
