Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is holding onto his pension just days before he is set to officially retire.

McCabe was at the Justice Department to meet with Scott Schools, the most senior career attorney in the department, as well as other officials, for a majority of the afternoon Thursday, to make a case why he should be allowed to retire and not be fired.

No matter what happens, he'll write a book, get picked up by an high-dollar security consulting and make bank.

This is pure vindictiveness, which is a hallmark of of Donnie Twump.

Compare this to the case of John Woo.

Completely political.

Of course it is....trump ordered it...It won't stand but it makes trump feel good, sure he is a petty vindictive asshole but who didn't think he wasn't?

Sadistic is more like it. It's sad because McCabe did some pretty heroic things in his career. What galls me is Sarah Huckabee Sanders calling him a "bad actor".

Anyway, I heard that Comey is coming out with a scathing tell all book soon.

Not familiar with the John Woo case.

Obviously I don't know McCabe, but if he's willing, then yes, obviously a book deal would replace any lost retirement funds. Barring that, I can't imagine that he couldn't make the case that he was fired for wrongful termination. Malevolent motive is so obvious it would be undeniable.

It's time for special council. Not only to look at certain FBI agents, but also to look into Mueller's investigation.

If Mueller knows of illegal activity and turned a blind eye to it, he should be charged with obstruction.

getting fire by a third grader can't be all that bad ..........

None of that excuses how he ****ed things up at the end of his career. He thought he was above the law; that isn't heroism.

Nah. It's only time for that in your enormously entertaining and public fantasy life.

Well, you hope it doesn't happen, but before you get out of hand, again, the thread isn't about me.

MaCabe just came out with a written statement...but it's not on the internet yet.

Well she is an obnoxious shameless Liar....Exactly what trump wants...All demagogues have them, at least the PR women for Putin and Kim Jong are in better shape

The thread isn't about you, although you clearly wish it were, but my post was about your babbling nonsense.

Sorry you had to run away from it.

I think he was fired because he corroborated Comey's account with the president.

He was fired for misleading investigators. i.e. he lied to Federal agents. That's a crime. The same crime Michael Flynn is charged with.
