Secret Service protects the President while in office. How long do you think they should protect him after he's no longer President?
If he survives, he shouldn’t need secret service protection in prison.

Trump has removed Secret Service protection for virtually everyone in the Biden administration except Joe Biden.

Removed it from Kamala Harris last week.
Protections were given as long as were allowed.

Protecting him in prison might be problematic.
Hopefully the secret service has a plan…

Another disingenuous poll in search of bad people on the internet. Catch any yet? Gotta satisfy that need for moral outrage.

Secret Service protects the President while in office. How long do you think they should protect him after he's no longer President?
Huge assumptions here, though I like them. Assumption #1, the man completes his term. I give that 50-50. Assumption #2, the man actually leaves office. If he survives his term, I give that 25-75, hence there is only 1 chance in 8 that the issue of how long should SS protection happen is even a legit question.

The Secret Service has proved it is incompetent. Therefore, there is no reason to waste the millions trying to stop an assassin. If they want Trump dead, They will make sure the SS are too busy looking in the wrong direction.

Secret Service protects the President while in office. How long do you think they should protect him after he's no longer President?
As far as Trump goes, he should receive the protection of a medium security federal prison. The SS can stand down.

Who would be the "bad people" in the thread results?

The ones you are obviously trying to ferret out. Any luck yet?

I don’t know how to answer that because you haven’t explained what that means . How would these people have voted?

How about following the law?

Secret Service protection

From 1965 to 1996, former presidents were entitled to lifetime Secret Service protection, for themselves, spouses, and children under 16. A 1994 statute, Pub. L. 103–329, limited post-presidential protection to ten years for presidents inaugurated after January 1, 1997.
Under this statute, Bill Clinton would still be entitled to lifetime protection, and all subsequent presidents would have been entitled to ten years of protection.[9] On January 10, 2013, President Barack Obama signed the Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012, reinstating lifetime Secret Service protection for his predecessor George W. Bush, himself, and all subsequent presidents.

K. This thread isn’t about me. What say you on the topic?

Everything you post is about you. You make it that way. This isn’t a thread designed to stimulate any serious discussion on an actual topic.
