For how long should Trump receive Secret Service protection after he leaves office?

He has protection for life.
my opinion is he should loose protection at the end of his term. He is rich enough to provide his own protection.

Depends. If he keeps his mouth shut about how long Biden or Obama gets SS protection then it should be lifetime protection. If he begins whining about Biden or Obama getting lifetime protection then we should take that as a sign that he’s willing to opt himself out and respect his wishes by pulling it early.

All presidents get it for life, so he should too. Just because he tries to debase American institutions and conventions doesn’t mean anyone else should join him.

Trump has removed Secret Service protection for virtually everyone in the Biden administration except Joe Biden.

Removed it from Kamala Harris last week.
 
Mar-a-lago security should suffice.
