So now the Tea Party movement and its backers on these boards are building the "we have been infiltrated" defense so that their own members can attack and shout "bad" things at people on the other side without being called for it.
Its not like the Tea Party movement needs infiltrating since it is made of in part of crackpots and loonies..

And a Tea Partier beat up Kenneth Gladney in St. Louis, the man bit off his OWN finger and Tea Partiers threw eggs at their own bus.
Uh huh.
Give me a break. You seriously saying that the Tea Party movement is snow white and has done nothing wrong at all since it came about?
After the failed attempt to deflect the N word being called of a US congressman , then I have no doubt that the Tea Party movement will do anything what so ever to find excuses for the actions of their members or sympathizers. The Tea Party is getting more and more radical with death threats, attacks and soon I betcha ... murder.
But we all know what kind of people are among the Tea Party... everything from out right factist, racists,to neo nazies and anarchists. I am not saying that everyone or even a majority are this radical, but you can not deny that they are there or trying to "cuddle up" with the Tea Party movement because of their similar views on certain things.
So face it.. a "they are infiltrating us" is just another excuse for not having a good enough handle on the members or sympathizers.
Little did you know that these are actually tea partiers trying to discredit their critics by pretending to be crashers who are pretending to be tea partiers. Nobody ever suspects the triple cross!
Why should I take the word of a leftist on this?
They have cooties apparently.
Cooties of the brain apparently.
What's wrong with a leftist?
So the domain is registered with a fake name, that's an interesting twist.
This sort of thing only strengthens the persecution complex these people carry... I wish people would understand that.
Talk to me when it gets a leader,
has a clear agenda,
and is motivated by more than just fear and anger.
When it does that, it will be a true movement, but right now it is just mobs of discontent citizens.
How is it a twist, the anti- tea party dirtbag is also a coward.
And then there are tea partiers who really are just racist, homophobic bigots.
But is anyone really that intelligent if they judge an entire group of people by the actions of a few?
Surprisingly good line, if somewhat inaccurate. I at least got a chuckle in the manner you intended.
This story is a classic example of stupidity. The Tea Party folks have done nothing to deserve people messing with them like this, the guy doing it is clearly a fruitcake, and this is not how politics should be in this country. I will point out though that just as the Tea Party supporters always point out, accurately, that the fringe with the over the top signs and statements are not representative of them, this idiot is not representative of anything other than a handful of idiots on the other fringe. We need to on both sides stop giving so much attention to the fringe element idiots.
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Opponents of the fiscally conservative tea party movement say they plan to infiltrate and dismantle the political group by trying to make its members appear to be racist, homophobic and moronic.
Jason Levin, creator of Crash The Tea Party!, said Monday the group has 65 leaders in major cities across the country who are trying to recruit members to infiltrate tea party events for April 15—tax filing day, when tea party groups across the country are planning to gather and protest high taxes.
Foes of tea party movement to infiltrate rallies
Who is "shocked" by this?
How dare you speak that way of Ben Franklin.
He's a Patriot
We are not frightened, we are apalled by the mass hypocrisy of a group that suffered worse abuse through 8 years of George Bush, but suddenly are outraged by a president who has included Republican ideas in his legislation despite their refusal to support it. They rail against higher taxes, though their taxes have not gone up, they scream about government-run health care, though the health care bill is no such thing, they foam about dictatorial powers, though this president is the most mainstream since Eisenhower. The "left" is curious how long so many people can labor under the fiction that Obama is "radical".

You are accurate in that "this is not how politics should be in this country". And (as a tea party member) I know that the local tea party leadership (of which I am not) is a group of sincere, caring individuals. They appear to play fairly and honestly, and this (in addition to political ideology) draws me to the movement. However, I do not see the "other side" as even coming close to playing fairly... just my opinion.
Really? I am part of the "other side", how have I been unfair in this?
No, I don't consider you the other side. We often disagree, but I respect how you present your opinion. I do, however, believe that there are many leftist activists who would stop at nothing to further their agenda. I have not found that to be the case in tea party members that I've associated with.
