There are some people who can't or don't want to get vaccines for a variety of reasons.
Their body, their choice applies to all!
It's no one's business who is vaccinated or not.
If you don't trust your vaccines, then what does that say.
Forcing others to get vaccines or else is out of fear. Either you trust the vaccines you get...or you don't.

I'm old enough to remember the days when many of the childhood diseases were still prevalent. I know what close to death whooping cough looks like in a healthy child. Scarlet fever quarantines disrupted whole towns and I remember the desperation of parents to get the first doses of polio live virus vaccine even though they knew it might cause polio. Childhood diseases were a serious concern. In 1900 18 % of all children died before they were 5. The expectation of living past 10 years old was about 50% in 1900.

But to achieve the eradication of the childhood diseases that we have today depended and still depends on 70% to 94% of the entire population (depending on the specific disease) to be immunized before herd immunity is achieved.

I personally support vaccines, but they should be voluntary, not mandatory. Also, comparing vaccine mandates to slavery is stupid and offensive. I get vaccines voluntarily, but even if I didn’t, I’d much rather get a mandatory vaccine than be a slave. In fact, I’d rather be dead than be a slave.
