The state reported more Covid-19 cases over the past week than any other seven-day period in the pandemic, according to the latest date from Florida's health department. Published on Friday, the data shows roughly 151,415 new Covid-19 cases were reported over the past week for an average of 21,630 cases each day.

And, if that isn't bad enough. The morons still don't get it.

Unlike last year, when face masks were required, the Brevard School Board voted 3-2 Tuesday night to make masks optional.

That's BS. My 6 year old grandson wears a mask in school or other close indoor settings and he is not the least bit traumatized by it! I think much depends on how their parents discuss the matter with them. It is also something all the kids have to do so no child is being centred out.

For my part, I will always err on the side of caution when it comes to protecting our kids from illnesses and danger as best we can. A vaccine for the young ones can't come quick enough for me.
