I know there are several fans of this show here, but can't for the life of me recall who they are right now.
Anyway.............

HBO doesn't telecast the new season until January 18th, but you can enjoy the new adventures of Bret and Jermaine today:

I don't think I'd ever heard of the show until I came across a reference to it in some light reading yesterday.

So I may be the only one who didn't know about Figwit. Amusing

season one was amazing...but I can't say I was so impressed by this new episode.

I just got around to watching it. That IMO is the worst episode I've seen of this show! Well now that they have resolved the season one "cliffhanger" maybe it will slide into its old groove again. There were some flashes of what I really like about the show, but far too few of them in that length of time.

I'll still be watching when it officially starts, and hoping for the best.

Yeah it kinda blew, though Murry sure can sing! I'd call it a 10% show, about 10% of it was any good. But it is the first misfire I've seen from them, so they get a pass.....unless they make a habit of this!

They had some other misfires.

The lounge song they did wasn't that great. The fu faux song wasn't awesome either.

The best songs were The Humans are Dead, Business Time and Prince of Parties

Well I should clarify that in the past I’ve seen shows that were great with so so songs and vice versa. IMO this was the first meeting in the middle for a truly mediocre result!

Yeah man. It was pretty bad.

Very disappointing.

But, like you said, it mostly just concluded the last season.

What I think was the biggest let down was Mel.

Mel is probably the funniest character. Remember her two headed creature drawing? Hilarious.
