Ironically enough, I did solve the gravity issue, eliminating the need to use acceleration to explain how we say on the surface.

It's also because the sphere is large enough that the curvature at this close is hard to make out with the naked eye, unless you have something to use as contrast such as ship "sinking" over the horizon.

What a ridiculous concept! The earth can't be flat, it's hollow!
There's a superior civilization living on the inside surface with the glowing hot core always in the sky like a sun that never sets. There's openings at both poles where they fly their saucers in and out.

When I post a link I don't usually include a word that isn't in the title of the link. The other side is very good at changing the title of an article or inserting their own words in order to tickle their fancies, but the link I posted speaks well enough on it's own without adding that little extra.
 
A sphere (or thereabouts) is a three-dimensional object. The flat Earth stupidity claims that the Earth is a one-dimensional absurdity.

But it makes sense that one-dimensional minds cannot grasp a 3d world. They ironically evolved from young-earthers to flat-earthers.

Where will they go now? I mean, how stupid can these people get? Well, I guess they are following in the footsteps of Jonestown, Heaven's Gate, Branch Davidians, Manson's family, and voting MAGA.

We don't claim the Earth is one dimensional.

The Earth definitely has depth. But if you dig down far enough you will find the Earth is held up be elephants that ride on the back of a giant space turtle.

Please stop slandering us and trying to make out that we are kooks.

By the acts of others with the influence of their wallets pulling in the same direction that has changed our education system, filled their head with nonsense via cable news, the internet, and vapid TV reality show offerings (including “The Apprentice “), etc., that was voluntarily complied with and not fought by those afflicted individuals affected by these decisions and made no attempt to enhance their lacking knowledge on their own, we have a dangerously large segment of the U.S, populace who border on being politically/citizenship functionally illiterate.

They don’t know how their own government works. Say incredibly dumb things like, “Keep your Government hands off my Medicare/Medicaid.”, etc. and so forth.

That's not even the worst of it. Only 66% of young adults aged 18-24 are sure the Earth is round. Compare that to 94% for US adults aged 55+. We are actually getting dumber as a country with each generation. And I think we can thank religion in large part for this:
